Stay in a charming cultural heritage building with hundreds of years of history. All of Rothenburg's landmarks, museums, restaurants & more are within a few minutes walk.

The central location and unique mixture of historic flair and modern living amenities will make your stay an unforgettable experience.

The restored timbered building includes two bedrooms on two floors, a fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms, and two bathrooms with showers with approx. 100 sq meters (1075 sq ft).

Delicious breakfast and super-fast WiFi are included in your reservation.
Parking for one car in a gated area is also included; please let us know if you would like to reserve a parking spot.
Chargers for electric vehicles are available for free.
A washing machine and dryer are available in the building upon request.

Kids and dogs welcome.

The apartment will be exclusively available to you. The bedrooms and living areas are in the upper two levels. Climbing stairs is required.

We are located on a quiet residential street inside the medieval city walls, right next to the Rothenburg Museum and near the famous St. James church. A gate through the old city wall leading directly into the lovely Tauber Valley is within two minutes walking distance.

The entire old city can be comfortably explored on foot from the apartment's location. Public transportation outside the city walls include buses and the Rothenburg train station with connections to all major cities.

Very Charming Apartment in the center of Rothenburg

Myself, husband, sister, and two children (9 and 10) spent 5 fantastic nights in this apartment and it was a highlight of our 11 day trip to Germany. Rothenburg is more beautiful than any of the photos I’ve ever seen and this apartment was a perfect complement to our time here. It’s very centrally located to everything and has so much historical charm while being very comfortable. The apartment has 3 bedrooms spread over 2 floors which made it very nice for our group with a very nice kitchen and dining area where we could gather. The daily breakfast was a very nice touch too. We can’t wait to return again!

Great location, great accommodations

This apartment is located in the best spot for exploring this beautiful old town. It’s clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. It’s authentic. If you want to experience living in this town but still have modern amenities this is the place! Jennifer, a host, and her staff are exceptionally attentive, welcoming and friendly people. Couldn’t ask for more!

A cozy and quaint historic space for Rothenburg adventures

My family and I (5adults and one 2 year old) enjoyed this two story historic home in easy walking distance to the heart of Rothenburg, shops and restaurants. We had onsite parking, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a nice eating area, and three separate bedrooms and a crib in a little nook. Breakfast was excellent each morning and Marion was friendly and always willing to make suggestions or answer questions. Communication from the property owners and responses to special requests were outstanding. We spent two nights there and will definitely choose this property again when returning to Rothenburg.

Super cute place to stay!

We loved everything about this property. There was plenty of room for three couples and it was in the heart of everything we wanted to do. The breakfast in the morning was a nice treat. If we are ever in Rothenberg again, this is where we will stay.

A couple days in a fairytale city

This place was perfect for us to spend a few days along the Romantic Road. We just had to step out the door and walk up the street to be in the thick of the action. We ventured out early, came in for a nap and went out later. At night the town was magical. The place was older but that added to its charm. It had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Having breakfast in the morning was awesome. The staff were helpful and cheerful. The only issue we had was getting there. We had directions, but the gates we thought are not well marked. But we did find it. It was extra nice to have parking available. We would recommend this to others. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

No disappointment, everything you could ask for

This place was everything we hoped for and more. The home in literally ancient. It's like stepping back in time, but having a comfortable and well taken care of place to explore and sleep. This was the highlight of our trip to Europe. Great laundry facilities as well. Kind and supportive staff for both checkin and breakfast. The location in the old city is literally perfect. Just off the path enough for a quiet stay, but 1 block to everything. Our baby loved his little room. Worth every penny.

Fabulous Location in the heart of Rothenburg

This is an amazing find. Every part of our stay was wonderful. Our host was so helpful at every turn (including helping while parking our vehicle on those narrow streets!) The accommodation was lovely, very fitting for the atmosphere of the town, and her dinner suggestion was spot on. PLUS the beautiful breakfast served each day was delicious. This is a top tier spot, highly recommended for the perfect visit to Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in der Altstadt

Wir haben uns zu sechst in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation lief unproblematisch und sehr freundlich. Parken war im Innenhof möglich. Liebevoll eingerichtet, großartige, zentrale Lage in der Nähe der Stadtkirche und des Marktplatzes; in der praktischen Küche war alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Kinder und wir waren uns einig: Hier wollen wir mal länger Urlaub machen! Gerne wieder!

Perfect location!

The location is the best possible. The hosts are very nice and responsive - and the lady that serves breakfast (at the time you choose and right downstairs!!) is very sweet. There is a narrow stairway to go up but we knew that going in. No complaints. VERY PEACEFUL!

Perfect for our family’s intro to Germany!

Our family (10 & 15 year old girls and the two of us) flew into Düsseldorf and drove straight to this property. Communications before and on the way down with Jennifer were clear and easy— she even called to make sure that a car that drove by the parking area a few minutes after we were due wasn’t us (we were running late). Once there, she gave us a warm welcome. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable with lots of light, but quiet surroundings. Access to anywhere in the town was quite convenient. Breakfast the following morning was exactly as you’d expect for a European breakfast and was absolutely delicious! Checkout was easy, and we were able to leave our car in the parking lot for an extra couple of hours to finish walking the town before leaving. Absolutely perfect start to our German travels!
