Patio and garden furniture. Landscaped gardens and 1-acre grounds (shared with owners and other property on site). Hard tennis court (shared with owner and other property on site). Private parking. . On a quiet country lane in the hamlet of Hentland, yet within easy reach of Ross-on-Wye (4 miles) and Hereford, this pair of tastefully converted cottages offer the perfect place to relax and unwind. Enjoying a courtyard setting and shared use of the owners’ magnificent landscaped gardens and tennis court, they sit in countryside that is a paradise for walkers and birdwatchers.



Bridle Cottage, ref E4075A, has wheelchair access and additional disabled facilities including a seat in the shower, and electrically adjustable bed and chair. Hay Cottage, ref E4074, is adjoining and adopts a similar layout, however does not have the addition of disabled facilities. More adventurous visitors will enjoy the variety of water sports and fishing offered at Ross-on-Wye and food lovers are well served by the area’s award winning pubs and restaurants. Shop 2 miles, pubs serving food 1 mile.



Shared gardens.

Up to two dogs only, not permitted in the landscaped gardens. If with a pet please bring throws to cover soft furnishings.

If bringing a therapy dog evidence must be supplied before arriving, otherwise a pet fee may be charged.

fishing break

As Two elderly mates we were going fishing for 5 days on the rivers around Tewkesbury and on the wye. For what we wanted the accommodation was spot on. Clean enough and comfortable enough. The location was out in the countryside so the Tackle felt safe in our cars. we were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads. This was it.

We had a lovely time at Hay Cottage.

We had a lovely time at Hay Cottage. It was clean and spacious and James (the owner) brought us over a box of green beans which we had for our tea one evening. It was a good layout and a very tranquil location. With a family it was great not to have too many nick-nacks for the kids to fiddle with. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely cottage to visit with local pubs serving good food and beer.

Lovely cottage to visit with local pubs serving good food and beer. Many interesting places to visit with not too far to travel. Have done 3 years running so feel need a change of area. Maybe will return in a couple of years time.
