Tulip field at sunset. This is a great time to photograph tulips if you fancy a sunburst peaking out among the stalks. It does take a fair amount of patience to find a nice looking bunch of bulbs with the sun in the right position (just partly occluded), all the while the sun is sinking further toward the horizon. It took more than 300 less-impressive attempts to net this beauty. This time I was careful to have out my 16-35mm lens, which produces lovely sunbursts with its 9-bladed aperture.
