"Worst staff I have ever encountered at a motel. If there was a staff person at the desk, they just stared at you and never acknowledged you. Same with housekeeping. We would make them speak to us by saying hi. Breakfast was very poor also. Will never go back."

"I booked the room for my husband & son who were going to the zoo Tues. morning. The car broke down, stranding them on the road. I contacted the hotel to see if we could get our fee waived due to circumstance (can provide proof of breakdown). They said only Expedia could waive fee. Expedia said it was up to hotel & they spoke to hotel & said I'd get an email. So far, the only email from Hampton is this. "How was your stay?" "We absolutely loved having brown stains on our ceiling, mattresses and sheets. The toilet didn’t flush properly, had to beg for towels and toilet paper. Sheets didn’t fit the bed and we had to constantly pull them back on. Beds way too small. Room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. It was a dismal experience."

"I had booked a db queen bed with a couch and there was no couch. They said oh yes this has been a problem on our websight we have asked them to take the false advertisement down but they haven’t for a year now. "The overall cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable, but the room we were assigned made for a very disappointing experience. As soon as we walked in, there was a strong body odor throughout the room. The air conditioner had not been turned on before our arrival, which made the smell even more noticeable, and it took quite a while for the room to cool down. We also found hair in the shower. Additionally, the bedding on one of the beds did not appear to have been changed, as it smelled like...

"The night manager was hostile when I had trouble opening my door. The key card had to be held a special way to get the door to open. I was tired, and had trouble managing the stairs and she was hostile and agrumentative about staying to vericy I (not she) could open the door. I arrived having to use the bathroom, and there were no facilities available until you checked in. That caused me a lot of physical discomfort. A fist gouge was in the bathroom door, and the shower curtain did not keep...
