The area was good and we enjoyed our time however, there was not enough supplies (silverware, cleaning supplies, dining) so we had to buy our own to use while there. The house was very cold when we arrived and would get very warm during the evening when it did warm up.

We paid but decided we could not stay at the house.The house featured uneven floor transitions presenting a trip hazard. The two story house has bedrooms upstairs and the only bathroom downstairs, the stairs are narrow with short treads posing another trip hazard for elderly people and were too risky for my wife to traverse.We chose to suffer financial loss rather than accept the risk of a fall.The landlord is a very courteous person and the property was clean and kept up in other respects. When I advised we could not stay he asked why, when I elaborated he failed to respond or offer any concession which is his right . This house in my opinion is not suitable for elderly.

Great location. Close to RIT and family in Chili. Furniture was very comfortable and it was nice to have the space to spread out and have our dog with us. The radiant heat made it very comfortable in the chilly temps. Would definitely stay here again.

House exterior in extremely poor repair. Garbage cans overflowing with trash. House smelled like marijuana who someone attempted to cover with toxic amounts of air freshener. We couldn’t breathe even after windows were opened. Contacted owner who stated he had been told by cleaning staff that there had been a large party the night before we arrived. So he was aware the house was not in any condition to rent. We couldn’t stay in the home and left for a hotel. Owner initially said he would find us another rental but later did not answer any of our calls or texts. Even without the smell, this house is in horrible repair! And shame on the owner who obviously has no pride in his product or concern for his reputation.

Home had not been cleaned and we did not stay. We arrived and host had not provided the updated access code for a newly installed lock. Was quickly responsive which was a plus. We entered the home after overlooking piles of trash by the front door and were immediately hit by the scent of cooking oil. Long story short, the home was not even in the condition required upon check-out. There were two pots of used cooking oil on the stove, food in the refrigerator, food remnants in the sink, garbage in/around the trash cans and one of the beds was used/uncleaned. Again, host was apologetic and offered to try to find a cleaner. At 8 pm on a Sunday night we were not inclined to wait around to see if this would be fixed. Host quickly refunded us what he described as the "full amount" but that was not the case. When I asked about the discrepancy, he replied that VRBO needed to refund the remaining amount. Three days after that conversation I have called VRBO two times and they say that the host did not refund the full amount possible on his end. VRBO has emailed him twice and attempted to call but he has not responded to them in the 48 hours since the first email was sent. All of this is especially disappointing since I said that I would leave a positive review once I had been fully refunded. Given that the host encouraged me to leave a five-star review, I wonder if a similar situation has happened in the past. I'm refraining from adding photos, hoping for my full refund.

The size and facilities were all accurately advertised. It is a convenient drive to many locations in Rochester and southern/western suburbs. It can easily sleep a 5th person or even a 6th especially if they are on the smaller side. The lack of bowls and knives was an inconvenience. The ants in the kitchen were as well. This place has potential.

Nice enough place however wasn't pleased that I had to take wet sheets from your washer and toss in the dryer if we wanted sheets for our beds. Also 1 roll of TP for 6 people wasn't going to last long so we bought some until a package was delivered

It was cozy and clean, toiletries were stocked, and it was easy to get in and out. Only issue we had is the flooring had random elevations and we all kept tripping. One of us has to walk with a cane and has an injured toe to begin with. Just a heads up if you have issues with mobility

Remembrance weekend

We mainly used the house as a sleeping spot. We had a remembrance for my late wife in the area and had to set that up at a park south of Rochester. We have a lot of family in the area and had to visit with them, so we didn't really hang out in the house much during the day. The keurig was a nice accessory. We could have used more towels. There were 4 of us and only 3 towels.Having access to a washer/dryer was nice.

Family "Style"

A unique little place with character! As grandparents (who can climb the stairs!) we thoroughly enjoyed our daughter and grandson visiting us throughout the day for hanging out and dinners! Very roomy first level with greatflooring for kids to play. Large kitchen for home cooked meals too!

Great girls weekend get-a-wat

My sisters and i were looking for something local for a Virgin River binge weekend and this was the perfect place to do that! The 80 inch TV was awesome to watch it on. It's a quiet neighborhood, clean interior, great communication with the provider and had a great time with lots of fun and laughter!!weekend of laughter
