Family & Friends in Fairport

Welcome friends!

This charming and cozy mid-century ranch home has been in our family for nearly 50 years and since we can’t be there all year round we don’t want it to get lonely! We figured vacation rentals were a great way to let the house know it’s appreciated even when we aren’t there.😊

The property is only 14 minutes from downtown Rochester, 22 minutes from the Rochester International Airport, and of course only a couple minutes from the quaint and beautiful Village of Fairport.

The house is a 4 bedroom 2 bath ranch-style home with plenty of room to spread out and relax in a beautiful and peaceful suburban neighborhood with a nearly half-acre yard bordering on a 20 acre wooded area. We regularly have deer, red-fox, rabbits, chipmunks, birds etc. visiting the yard. The home has a country/cottage feel with a number antiques that add to its charm.

The heart of the home is spacious yet cozy family room with a brick fireplace, 65” Ultra Hi Def TV and access to the relaxing outside deck with comfy chairs and a fire-pit table. 🍸 🍻 🔥

For additional gatherings, there is also a large living room with comfortable Pottery Barn couches to relax on... and if you have a musician amongst you, there’s a piano that definitely wants to be played. 😊 🎹

The Kitchen has newer stainless steel appliances and comes equipped with plenty of utensils, cookware, serving dishes, glassware, wine glasses, silverware and dinnerware. Next to the kitchen is a dining room with an expandable table to provide room for all.

There are four bedrooms total, two with Queen-sized beds and two with Full-sized beds. All have clean and comfortable mattresses with comfy sheets, comforters, waterproof mattress protectors and nice plush pillows with Aller-Ease antimicrobial pillow protectors. Most rooms also have handmade quilts if you need a little extra warmth on chilly nights.

Downstairs is a partially finished basement that has a second bathroom with shower and a large bedroom with a full size bed, 50” HDTV with Roku and a queen sleeper sofa. There is also a large laundry room downstairs.

The home has central heating and air conditioning to keep you comfy any time of year.

There was plenty of room to spread out especially since we also worked remotely. Great kitchen supplies. Patrick was awesome! He always responded to messages promptly. Loved being back home in Fairport. Easy access to the village and surrounding towns from our location.

Good place for a short stay

We were in town for a bridal shower so we spent 3 nights there. There was adequate space for 6 adults. Plenty of dishes in kitchen and towels for bathroom. The deer in the backyard were fun to watch. It was a nice central location which is why we picked it.

Wonderful place for family to gather

Loved this home! We were in town to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Close to Fisher where she goes to school. It has a wooded backyard with a nice deck to sit and watch the deer and birds. The interior of the house has a beautiful family room to gather and spend time together. Patrick was quick to respond to any questions I had and there were thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay while our daughter is in school in the area!

Very Comfortable

I have stayed at many STRs up and down the east coast and this was far and away the coziest, most comfortable place I have ever experienced. It truly felt like being at home. We came to explore the area and the house was ideally suited for traveling all over Rochester and WNY. Easy check-in and check out too. 5 stars all around!

Fairport home

This house worked perfectly for us. The neighborhood is quiet, the house was very clean, and had everything we needed especially the kitchen which is well stocked with utensils and cooking pots and pans. Our daughter loved having her own bedroom and bathroom on the lower level. We also enjoyed having woods behind the house and watching the deer come down every day. This is an ideal house for anyone looking to stay near Rochester and the surrounding area.

Warm & Cozy!

We were in town for the NCAA D3 Indoor Track & Field Nationals. The house was a perfect location and just right for our needs. We loved all of the little personal touches. We all agreed it was like staying at grandma's house, warm, cozy and comforting. It has wonderful charm and my dad was ready to move in permanently. Even had some deer pass through one night. We would most definitely recommend!!

My friends and I were looking for a place to celebrate one of our birthdays. We found our stay to be very pleasant with many amenities and commendations to make us more comfortable. The home was located in a very nice neighborhood a quick ride away from anything you could need. The furniture and decor were quaint and cozy. I would highly recommend for groups who are looking to get away!

Reunion get away

Our small group has had a reunion every February for the past seven years. In the past we stayed at a hotel, but this year decided to rent a house. The house was perfect and very clean upon arrival. The host was very prompt in replying to any question prior to our visit and even afterward. We all felt very comfortable in the home and had no trouble finding anything we needed in the house. we ha a great time watching the deer every evening. Would recommend this house and already talked about renting it again next year.

Great stay

This was a return visit for us due to family living just streets away. The house is great and clean. We wished the walkway had been shoveled from the snow due to older family members arriving first but we made due once we got inside to find the tools to do it ourselves.

Excellent stay

This home was exceptionally clean and perfect for our Thanksgiving celebration with family and friends. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prevent large meals. All the extra touches provided by the host made for an exceptional stay.

Basement Bedroom more problematic due to stairs, than expected. Lots of duties at checkout. Strip beds, gather towels, begin washer. Clean kitchen begin dish washer. Gather trash, put in trash can, take cans down to curb and be out by 10Am

Wonderful host and location

The house was just as listed and everything was clean, neat and well maintained. There were little signs throughout the house that clearly explained how to use the remotes, fireplace, etc. Upon arrival the host sent us a message asking us to contact them if we had any questions or issues, which we didn’t need to because he thought of everything.

Great Spot

Excellent location! Quick drive to Fairport which is beautiful. Near grocery stores and restaurants Finger Lakes are wonderful and worth a day trip to the wineries.
