"Do not stay here. Found hairs in beds, questionable stains on sheets, can’t explain the smell. Marks on walls, cracks in plaster that were more than hairline and damage everywhere. Needs refurbishing!"

"This is a beautiful hotel that was really really clean and had a lot of extra little touches in the room, for a very reasonable price."

"Lovely art deco interior and very helpful staff Got busy with a wedding on the Saturdaywhen it would have been helpful to have a room further away from the reception and we couldn’t get served in the dining room. "

"Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. I’ll be back 😂"

"Ideal location close to many things. Room was all you need and clean. Staff were great. Only thing I would knock it on is the bed was passed its best many years ago. Not a good nights sleep to say it was so quet."

"I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay. It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub."

"Staff are absolutely delightful, can’t do enough for you, I booked 2 small doubles (room was for 1, bed small double, cost was brilliant) bed & pillows/duvet was comfy & I’m fussy about mattresses. The radiator wasn’t on in either room (I think heating was turned off) but radiator was brought to the room & plugged in for when we got back to our room, we had dinner in the restaurant, food was hot & delicious, slept well, had a small cooked breakfast, again delicious.
