"We were lucky to be upgraded to the new spa rooms which are excellent. spacious and well equipped. Location is beautiful with stunning views high up over lake Garda and if you want to get away from it all, its ideal. Dining options were good but some staff were new, food was good but more every day options would be good for residents Could benefit from a social area, bar or similar Be prepared for a 20 minute mountain road drive to access the hotel and visit Gargnano"

"My family and I couldn't have been more pleased with Hotel du Lac. The property is bright, roomy, sunny and SPOTLESS! Our rooms were comfortable and faced the lake. The location was wonderful: Gardone is one of the quieter towns on the lake, and we appreciated the serenity. The onsite restaurant is excellent as is the service. "I love the old school vibe this hotel gives. It has a lot of character. Also the woman at the reception desk (i think her name was Greta) was SO helpful and gave so many good recommendations for food and activities. One thing i didnt like was there were no irons in the room. I had to either send my clothes for ironing service which i had to pay for or go downstairs and use the iron which wasnt practical for me. Otherwise, this was a beautiful hotel. "

"Wir hatten den überdachten Parkplatz gebucht für 10€/Tag - hat sich gelohnt. Das Frühstück ist großartig (Rührei/Speck, Brötchen/Brot, Müsli zum selbst zusammenstellen, Früchte, Saft, Kaffee,…). "A dream vacation in a charming villa on the lake with a huge pool. Exceptional welcome service from Ilary. Hearty breakfast. A quiet place, not even ten rooms, but with access to the lake in different places. Service at the bar and the presence of dogs 🐶 in the structure made it really homey. If I could dream of anything to make it even better it would be a boat to rent, since the hotel already has a pier."

"We stayed here for our Minimoon and it was absolutely amazing. We had a room with a terrace, which had a perfect view of the lake. The room itself was recently renovated and spotless. The hotel has a lovely terrace where you have breakfast and dinner, with even better views and all the Italian charm you could hope for. The staff were all so polite and attentive, we felt looked after throughout. Would really recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"Nice little hotel. Our room was very warm and we could not turn on the air conditioning - it had just been turned off for the change of the season. So we sweated in the room. Only draw back is there is no coffee maker or any hot drink amenity in the room. "Wonderful stay. We booked a very last minute deal, and we're upgraded to a superior room with a balcony. Great staff, breakfast was plentiful, room was clean with superb veiws.
