The river was further away from the house than pics showed, we couldn’t connect to the t.v. With Hulu and a couple other apps, said John does fire stick was hooked up, we could connect with Netflix..place was clean and tidy!!! We enjoyed our stay!! House needs work, tile in the bathroom is cracked a broken, there’s a hole above an outlet that needs patching!!! But all in all Good stay, enjoyed the place!!!

The property was clean. The house was supplied with everything we needed and more. The host was easily contacted. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and a variety of shops. Will stay here again!

This house was perfect for where we wanted to stay. It’s right on the water and had a great deck to sit and relax. The house was clean and had plenty of the amenities that you will need. The location was great right on Route 66. Make shure you stop in downtown and do some antique shopping. I would definitely stay here again!

BLUF: We left after the first night of a two night stay, drove 4 hours just to NOT stay there. Very antiquated. Floor tiles very broken and toilet sunken in floor, wife and I both made the comment that we hoped we didn't fall thru the floor. Floors throughout were uneven, so much so that doors were not plumb and the head of the bed was considerably lower than the foot. Large holes in walls near outlets that the covers didn't cover. The other half of the home was in even worse condition and locked off but visible. Decks were uneven with rotten wood. Sitting in bed my wife ended up with a "click beetle" in her hair after taking a shower; we killed several beetles that evening. Window AC units were old and very loud.
