Modern Bach with a Rural view

This sunny 2 bedroom property is located a short stroll away from the beach perfect for swimming, surfing and kayaking. On a very quiet street overlooking Taramea Bay.

Come and unwind and enjoy all that Riverton has to offer. Fishing, Bush walks, the surf and the local cafes.

The Bach itself is perfect for a small family with a fully fenced section. There is not a lot of lawn but It is a relaxing getaway with great rural views from a spacious deck.

We welcome pets, though you must respect the property and clean up after them. Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. Maximum of two dogs unless prior approval from the owner.

This home has a modern kitchen with a gas hob, convection microwave a double drawer air fryer and a dishwasher. A BBQ is also provided for your use. The home is heated with a heat pump. Washing machine and dryer are provided in the laundry outside.

Newly installed outdoor shower area to hose the sand and pets down.

This is only a small home with beds for 4, one bedroom has a queen bed, the other has a double bed with a sofa bed for your extra guest. The sofa bed would only suit 1 adult or 2 small children. Each bedroom has its own TV.
We charge a cleaning fee. Under the kiwi Bach way you are expected to leave the Bach tidy and do the dishes. A dishwasher is provided.

Linen is provided. Wifi available.

Home away from home. Felt at home rightaway, well equipped kitchen, Smart TV and spacious bedroom. Perfect base for our getaway to explore the south. Dog friendly too, the property is fenced. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful little cottage

Cosy comfortable crib

Easy check-in to a lovely, warm crib/bach. It is spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The fenced yard was good for our dog. We can highly recommend.

Best Riverton Experience

We had a great experience with Heather's place! Many of the customers are looking for a sleepout considering its location, cleanliness and other positive things. Gladly, the place has it all. Overall, Heather is a text away for any concerns during our stay. The house is an absolute treat for leisure and business purpose visit with stunning views, and a few minutes walk away from the beach. I look forward for our next booking with the place in the future!

Not great. Terribly uncomfortable couch. No oven. Towel rail in bathroom literally taped together. Only had enough seating for three people but claimed to be set up for five people which made life very difficult when trying to feed three children at a dining table and no seat for myself! No space anywhere to put groceries or bags etc. To top it all off a couple hours before we had even checked out they were in the house doing laundry and trying to clean up etc. Just assumed we had left and didn’t bother to check.

Wonderful way to visit Riverton

An excellent property with just the right amount of everything; not overwhelming but plenty comfortable. Host Martha is a true gem; we were lucky enough to have a very pleasant visit with her. She helped us find all the hidden gems nearby (especially the outstanding fish & chips take-away nearby - yum yummmm!). This Bach is clean, comfortable, convenient to everything and an overall great place to stay. We will not stay anywhere else in the region. Thanks for a wonderful stay !!!!
