"This must be the best hostel in Gallway. Everybody were super friendly. The hostel is new and everything works very well. We enjoyed the trad session (traditional Irish music) at the hostel on our first evening. On our second night we took part in the hostel dinner. This hostel is located in the center of town close to everything. I can warmly recommend the hostel."

"We had a very comfortable stay at the Skeffington Arms in Galway. We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. The beds were comfortable, and there was air conditioning in each room. One of our rooms' air conditioning units was not working properly, and the room was a bit warm, but not bad. We were located in the back of the hotel, so we were not disturbed by the music in the pub downstairs. We immensely enjoyed the musician at the Skeff Bar. It was one of the highlights of our trip. "I stayed at The Dean for five nights and it is a fantastic hotel. Fun, hip, spotless, well decorated, helpful staff, excellent facilities, and a great location. I love this hotel! "

"I absolutely LOVED this property! We stayed in the duplex and it was incredible. The location is perfect as there are pubs all around and there is a parking garage about a 5 minute walk away which was very convenient since we had a rental car! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. "Lovely hotel in good location for walking to sights. Clean,comfy bed, Nespresso coffee machine in room. Deluxe double room was large and had A/C which we didn’t need. (saw a regular double and it looked very small). Nice toiletries. Shower was a combo with bath tub and a deep step in. Large screen TV with what seemed to be satellite TV. Folks in reception very nice and helpful. Very close to train station. Nice hotel. "

"Lovely atmosphere in the lobby area, but would suggest a play area for children and also re-configure the changing room for women/children as flight of stairs is difficult to manage to/from the swimming pool and same also need to get through the gym area before/after swim which brings up a safety and privacy issue!"

"From the outside we were concerned because outside looked a little run down. The inside was lovely. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. It was an easy walk about 10-15 mins to downtown Galway. "

"My husband and I had a phenomenal stay at Oranhill Lodge B&B. It is a fabulous location just steps outside Oranmore village - a charming town just a 15 min drive/bus ride from Galway. We didn’t rent a car and had an easy time getting to/from Galway city with the bus located just down the road from the B&B.
