"We normally stay at the older Sandman, but decided to splurge and try the Sandman Signature for three nights for my husband’s birthday weekend. Unfortunately, the stay didn’t live up to the price.
The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly both at check-in and check-out. When we mentioned our concerns at checkout, they said they would pass them along to the manager, which we appreciated.
However, the bathroom design is very poor. If you’re staying here, I would strongly recommend...

"Noticed a big change from our last stay here - starting to look pretty beat up. Strong smells in the hallways and the room had a strong scent of deodorizer or something you’d use to cover up a smell - was very overpowering and made me very stuffed up when we were in the room. Did not exactly feel very safe this time around - some characters lurking around the parking lot and close to the entrance. Staff were great, breakfast was great. Would likely stay again."
