"I have stayed at the Feathers several times and find it to be very comfortable with nice and friendly staff. The only downside is that sometimes the bed doesn’t get made although I have advised the staff and hopefully this will be addressed. Also the free wifi isn’t satisfactory as it drops all the time. All in all, I would still be very happy to stay there again in the future. A big plus is the pub which serves great food. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had found the hotel based on searching for somewhere we hadn’t been before. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to be able to walk around the grounds in the evening. While there isn’t a great deal to do in Ware, Scott’s Grotto (only open Saturday afternoon) and Hatfield House (30 minutes drive away) are both worth a visit. Thank you to all who made it an enjoyable weekend away for our family."

"I stayed here when it was Theobalds Park and the hotel is going through a full renovation which can make the place look totally unfinished. The only negative was that there was no work desk in my room - but I was told that this is going to be rectified and most room do have a desk. I would definitely stay again "

"Nice room with good supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and a chocolate each which was nice. Lovely decor, just a little bit of maintenance needed as tap in bath moved. When using and a bit of enamel missing on bath, but all in all, a comfortable stay with a generous breakfast in the morning. Friendly welcoming staff. "

"We were welcomed with coffee and had a lovely quiet room with a bathroom. Very comfy bed , immaculate house and informative host. We will visit again!"

"Very nice location, and very friendly staff. It is obvious that they put their heart and soul into the place. I think it's had its ups and downs with bad management, training issues and maintenance. It did what it said it would do, but I have a feeling that with a bit more help and support, the place could be exceptional, as the staff deserve it. They obviously love the place, and so do the regular patrons. It's a work in progress, don't let the silly little things put you off staying here, and...
