Hotels a Riu del Mar, Aptos

"Clean nice place. No balcony in our room, nor kitchen but fridge and microwave. Lighting a bit too blue- sort of florescent. Proximity to beach hard to beat."

"Nice hotel grounds. Did not have a chance to use pool or try restaurant. Internet not satisfactory. Parking fee seems unnecessary for location."

"Location was great, room was clean, parking was great, had air conditioning, bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall facilities need to be updated inside (rugs, bathroom fixtures, furniture) and outside (landscaping). But for the value, it was fine."

"Liked that hotel was within walking distance from Santa Cruz Boardwalk and free parking at hotel. Clean room & plenty of storage space in bathroom for our stuff. Manager nice & helpful & made popcorn for us. Wish there was extra blanket bc got a little cold sleeping and chair to sit in. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you"

"Weds a good update of the property. Security gates on the property were all broken and taped so homeless individuals were sleeping inside the property gates at night. Great view however from the sun deck and they gave us blankets for sit with our fire pit at night."

"Absolutely charming little cottage just a short walk up from the beach. The beach itself is great, though busy. Lots of places you can walk to, including a local beer garden, and Starbucks is less than a block away for morning coffee. Extremely clean, though the property is a little older. Very quaint. Parking is limited, but it wasn't a probelm during my stay. Would return."

"Nice clean room, great shower. Nice location."

"There was plenty of parking"

"Day/night shift lady who checked us in (I believe her name was Sheryl) was very welcoming, patient while I was looking for my card, and let us know about local things happening in the area. Breakfast buffet was good! Staff kept everything well stocked. Pool wasn’t heated the first night but I believe it was the second night (when we did not get to go swimming). Lots of shopping centers in the area. Property was well kept."

"Great value stay in good location in an expensive city! Nicely kept property, clean room, and the hot tub room was awesome"
