Amazing Getaway

The place was great, clean, and spacious for our family. Visited with toddlers and infants and we felt really safe. the area is also very centric to a number of cities and happening towns.

Great family house close to snowbowl

Stayed here with group of extended family for Middlebury Feb graduation. Location close to snowbowl was perfect. Lots of room in the house and the game room was big plus. Plenty of parking which made life easy for a group coming from all over.

Family Wedding

We had a family wedding nearby so the house was great to have us all together. We also loved the proximity to hiking...across the street! Home had plenty of space for us to spread out if we wanted and spend time together for games and fun.

Great property and location

This home is very large with plenty of space to spread out in. Nice fenced in yard for pets and plenty of amenities to keep everyone occupied. Fantastic location in the Green Mountain National Forest with plenty of hiking nearby. Conveniently located near Middlebury.

Spacious and comfortable home

Convenient to Middlebury, we brought family and Godparents together to celebrate our daughter graduating from Middlebury College. The house is comfortable and spacious. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Hosts were great -- very responsive, helpful, and clear communication. This was a great find -- highly recommend.

This house is nothing short of spectacular! The kitchen is bright and cheery with all the basics. (Use the silver fridge the other one isn’t as cold) The living room is so cozy and family/friends friendly. All the many bedrooms are great and the huge master with the poster bed is just stunning. The jet tub is a treat. There’s a huge game room with a pool table etc etc. Our family had poker night and we just had a great time. About 20 minutes to Middlebury. Quiet and peaceful. Yes you hear a car here and there but it’s nothing. We Loved our stay and Chris was very helpful.

Wonderful home in Ripton

This is truly a property that keeps on giving. We stayed in the summer, when the hiking and outdoors are great. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard, and the location in Ripton is stupendous. Their are well-known trails throughout the National Forest, and a couple of lesser known trails within walking distance (we see you SPirit In Nature!). The house itself is very comfortable. The kitchen is built to support a large group (two fridges!) and there are many nooks to explore and hide out. Everything was clean. The Game Room? Don't get me started. Fun for all ages.

Absolutely Gorgeous home, Beautiful area. The homeowner was absolutely wonderful and I would suggest to ANYONE to take a family get away HERE.

The house size and layout was great for families. We all had our own space and large fenced in yard. However all of us commented on how the house was not clean. It seemed like they do quick vacuum and change sheets but that's it. There were dying and dead flies everywhere as if they had bug bombed recently and very dusty/unwiped surfaces. Additionally no trails on the property, and no map. Backyard was completely unusable until we cleaned it up ourself, leaves everywhere so unsafe to have a fire. Crubs on counter and couch. Also little annoyances like 1 roll of paper towels for 4 nights, no extra trashbags, no ziploc bags or tin foil? Really odd when you pay all this for the conveniences of home, but then have to buy that stuff. Love the house itself but would not stay again. Needs a good deep clean and better upkeep.

Check-in was easy and the house was all set up and dialed in for a hot day. AC was on and fans were set up. They even left really cute cookies!!!The coffee maker was AWESOME and there were 2 refrigerators which was so luxurious. Hot tub was really nice and clean and perfect temp. Everyone had a ton of fun and loved the uniqueness of the lodge. My calves are sore from going up and down the stairs so many times.Great memories were made and we want to come back!!!

Great house with lots of different types of sleeping spaces. Plenty of space to eat, gather, relax and play. Close to the road, but backyard space is nicely fenced.

Big beautiful house

The house is huge and beautiful! So much fun playing all the downstairs games and finding the secret room. Made s’mores on bonfire and loved the hot tub. The only negatives were close to road and when out at fire pit it could be noisy. Also the popcorn machine had popcorn pieces and kernels still in it. We weren’t using it anyway but maybe housekeeping overlooked this time. The good completely outweighs the bad this house is truly one of a kind and a great experience for families.

Quiet Time.

The house is HUGE! It is very cool with so many areas to get away from each other or areas to gather and enjoy card games, pool games or just some time outside. The hosts are excellent. On our stay the Internet was knocked out, probably a storm, and the host even showed up to coordinate with the internet company and get us WiFi again, which we needed for our jobs. What a great place and great host.

what a perfect home

we came with soon to be new in laws.. there was 6 of us... and we have an amazing time.. the home is immaculate and so well stocked with games, spices etc.. they had even decorated the whole home for christmas, inside and out... if there were 10 stars i would rate it as such... we hope to visit again in the future..

Absolutely perfect trip

Kris & Ben were great hosts, very easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for us, lots of beds & space for all of us. We had snow which helped the Christmas trip plus the decorations & tree. Thank you for everything.
