The host was extremely welcoming, showed us around and answered all our questions. The accommodation was beautiful and clean and super relaxing. The garden and pool are gorgeous. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The beds are comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

An unforgettable stay in a delightful property. The grounds were so tranquil, and the pool area was loved by the children. The host stayed in close contact, and was always available for any queries.We were fortunate enough to see Etna erupting near the end of our stay. There are wonderful views of Etna from the front of the property.

Zauberhaftes und sehr gepflegtes Anwesen

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Objekt war nicht nur extrem gut ausgestattet, sondern auch picobello sauber. Im Garten gibt es einen Grill mit sämtlichem Zubehör. Im Haus fanden wir Kaffee, Gewürze, Öl, Handtücher, Geschirrspültücher und ausreichend Toilettenpapier vor. Längst keine übliche Ausstattung mehr in einem Ferienhaus. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Pool, Garten, Haus, Terrasse...alles wunderschön und gemütlich. Es hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! sauber. Gewürze

Paradies zum Wiederkommen

Wir waren bereits schon vor zwei Jahren zu Gast in Micheles wunderbarem Ferienhaus. Wie schon in unserer letzten Bewertung ausgeführt übertreffen das Haus, der tropische Garten und der Pool die Erwartungen. Alles ist top gepflegt und es wurde einiges wie zum Beispiel in neue Matratzen und Möbel investiert ohne das stilvolle Ambiente zu beeinträchtigen. Michele hat uns herzlich gegrüßt, war immer per Messenger erreichbar und hat auftretende Probleme prompt beseitigt. Außerdem sind seine Tipps wirklich zu gebrauchen. Nochmals vielen Dank für den Tipp mit der Cantina Nicosia. Das Essen mit Weinprobe war super. Noch kurz zur Umgebung. Riposto und Torre Archirafi sowie das Meer sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Etliche Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Ätna und Taormina bequem mit dem Auto. Es war ein herrlicher erholsamer Urlaub. Danke Michele

Perfect for the real Sicily

We could not fault this stay. Michele our host was welcoming and helpful. The villa was perfect for our needs. Spacious and accommodating. Gave us the privacy needed but close to all amenities. With restaurants within walking distance. The ‘lungomare’ was so beautiful to walk along. Would 100% recommend.

Einfach toll

Der Aufenthalt in Riposto war traumhaft. Die Unterkunft von Michele war wirklich wunderschön. Das Haus sowie das großzügige Grundstück waren ein wundervoller Rückzugs- und Erholungsort nach unseren Tagesausflügen. Die Kommunikation war super. Die Unterkunft war eine glatte 10 von 10. Immer wieder gern!

Perfect house for holiday in Catania area

We enjoyed two weeks holiday in this beautiful house. The house is in perfect condition and very well equipped and furnished, everything was very clean and nothing was missing. The layout of the house is very well thought out, the bedrooms are in the cooler basement, but the rooms are still very bright thanks to the windows. If that's not enough in summer, there are also well-functioning air conditioning units installed. We immediately felt at home. The large garden is also fantastic, and thanks to the pool and the games (e.g. basketball) there was never a dull moment. Of course there was a barbecue, which was also very clean. Communication with Michele was always absolutely smooth and he also gave us lots of tips for excursions. The location is ideal for excursions to the north (Taormina, Messina) but day trips to Syracuse and the South are also possible thanks to the good connections. There are long beaches with fine pebbles in the immediate vicinity (5-10 minutes by car). You have to travel further by car to reach sandy beaches in this area. The only drawback we found was sometimes the noise of the road, which passes about 30 - 40 metres from the house. All in all, Michele's house is highly recommended for holidays in Sicily.

Beautiful house, friendly host.

The house is wonderful. The sleeping rooms are in the basement, which is perfect for hot days. All electric devices functioned. The garden is lovely with charming details. Very well maintained. We didn't find the private walk down to the water, but there is no need for that. There is a calm street down. The host offered us a warm welcome. English speaking, very reliable and helpful with insider tipps for trips in the area.

Amazing

Beautiful house, beautiful garden We have just had 2 wonderful weeks in this house. Thank you Mikele, there was everything there that we needed, very clean and well maintained garden and pool. We found some lovely restaurants very close by, and found getting around quite easy with the sat nav.

Superbe maison

Nous avons séjourné à 5 dans cette superbe maison. Le propriétaire est parfait, attentif et serviable. La maison dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin, inutile se prendre l’intendance avec soi. Maison avec tres beau jardin

Maison avec tout le confort necessaire , bien equipee, piscine agreable et magnifique jardin. Le seul inconvenient est que la maison est au bord d'une route passante et donc bruyante la nuit. L'hote Michele etait tres a l'écoute et repondait à nos delandes rapidement.

wunderschönes ferienhaus

wir haben den aufenthalt sehr genossen, das ferienhaus ist groß und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, es gibst eine außenküche und diverse sitzgelegenheiten im großen, wunderschön angelegten garten, den pool haben wir jeden tag genutzt ebenso den kleinen basketballplatz, der vermieter ist sehr freundlich, wir haben ausflüge nach syrakus und zum ätna gemacht und viel selbst gekocht. ich glaube es war unser bislang schönstes ferienhaus

Toller Familienurlaub

Wir waren im Juni für eine Woche in diesem tollen Ferienhaus! Die Bilder entsprechen genau der Wirklichkeit. Michelle ist unglaublich nett und hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt. Toller Gastgeber! Die Außenanlage und der Ausblick sind ein Traum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das einzige negative ist die Umgebung. Dreckig und nicht so schön. Ein Auto ist zu empfehlen. Viele tolle Ausflugsziele in 1- 1 1/2h zu erreichen. Auch für unseren 2 jährigen Sohn wurde ein Reisebett zur Verfügung gestellt.

Schönes Anwesen

wir verbrachten ein Woche mit zwei großen Jungs auf dem Anwesen. Der Empfang, wie auch die gesamte Kommunikation vor, während und nach dem Aufenthalt mit Michele waren durchweg super. Er war immer erreichbar, stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ganz herzlichen Dank auch für den Imbiss am ersten Tag, den er uns für kleines Geld gerichtet hat. Das Haus selbst bietet alles was das Herz begehrt, der Garten ist großartig und sehr gepflegt. Die zahlreichen Fischläden und einige Restaurants sind fussläufig erreichbar. Was leider nicht geht ist im Meer baden in unmittelbarer Nähe. Dafür ist der Pool perfekt, der auch regelmäßig gewartet wird. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge gut geeignet. Bei uns auf dem Programm standen natürlich der Etna, aber auch Taormina, Noto (unbedingt machen) und Syrakus. Für uns das Highlight war das große Anwesen (mitsamt der frischen Zitronen für unsere Getränke) und die Tatsache, dass wir alleine da wäre.

Great and calm spot

The house and the fully private premises is huge and as most Italian houses quite dark on the inside; however the outside area is splendid for a calm and anonym stay with your family; playing football on the very nice grass, swim in the pool, everything calm and outstandingly well maintained...the sleeping rooms are in the cellar, sometimes lacking a bit fresh air but if your priority is time spent on the outside is a priority, a perfect spot!!! The sea is near but does not have a beach, for seaside activities you need to take the bike or car...

2023 Sicily visit.

Michele was an excellent host. He was waiting at the villa when we arrived and he spent some time with us showing us around the garden and pool then the inside of the villa. Everywhere was very clean and well looked after. He suggested places to visit and local close-by restaurants. We found the fridge-freezer had stopped working one morning so I Whatsapped Michele who replaced it by lunch time. For our first few days the weather was cloudy and rainy but afterwards it was clear and sunny and that was when we got our great first view of Etna. Great base for driving to see the sights, you will need a car. Thank you Michele for looking after us on our Sicily visit.

Tolles Haus mit wunderschönem Garten

Rundum perfekt!

Michele ist sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation funktioniert schnell und einfach via WhatsApp. Das Haus ist rundum gesichert mit Fliegengitter sowie grossen Eisengittern, welche das Haus vor einem Einbruch schützen sollen. Besonders die Eisengitter waren für uns sehr praktisch, da wir so Türen und Fenster offen haben konnten, ohne dass unsere drei jährige Tochter aus den Fenstern fallen oder sie durch die Türe alleine zum Pool konnte. Bei Bedarf kann man alle Tür- und Fenster-Gitter öffnen. Man hat absolute Privatsphäre. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es keine anderen Wohnhäuser. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es Zitrusfrüchte, Kaki und vieles mehr. Der Garten ist sehr gross und schön. Auch unser Hund fühlte sich sehr wohl und war total entspannt.

Really Nice Villa

Mikele's Villa is really nice. It is set in lovely gardens behind its own gates. You can still see Etna from the property, which is nice. Inside the Villa there is everything you would want and more. From Suncream, coffee, toilet rolls to ingredients in the cupboards there wasn't anything else needed. The Villa even had a range of deterrents for those pesky Mosquito's of which there are many. Do bring extra as you will need it. The bed was the most comfortable, we have slept on in a hired villa. Swimming pool is great and safe for kids also. Mikele was the perfect host and I would recommend his Villa. Additional info. The Villa is near the town of Riposto. It is not a tourist town but an Italian working one. However to right of the Villa there is the little village of Torre Archirafi which has bars and restaurants mainly used by the Sicilians. This is a 15 mins walk by the sea which is lovely. Be aware that most start to close for winter from 3rd week Sept. If you want to go anywhere else you need a car. Catania is approx 60 mins away on the toll road (which you will need 0.70e at the end of it). Roads and driving is not the best in Sicily. Taormina is approx 45 mins on the toll road and Naxos is 30 mins. There are some beaches past Riposto which have beach areas call Lidos which you will need to pay to go in.

Tolles Haus mit herrlichem Garten und schönem Pool

Mikeles Haus war eines, wenn nicht das schönste, welches wir bis jetzt gemietet hatten und wir waren die letzten 15 Jahre mindesten einmal im Jahr in Italien in einer Ferienwohnung oder einem Ferienhaus. Das Objekt entsprach zu 100 Prozent der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Auf den Bildern ist gar nicht zu sehen, wie schön es ist. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig und ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Platzierung der Schlafzimmer im Keller ist auch von Vorteil, da es dort sowieso kühler ist und man den Straßenlärm nicht hört. Nur die Betten hätten etwas länger sein können. Der Garten mit dem Grillbereich beim Pool ist wunderschön und hat mit den hohen Palmen, den Bananenstauden und Citrusbäumen einen parkähnlichen Charakter. Der Pool ist gepflegt und mehrmals in der Woche gereinigt. Mikele war über WhatsApp immer zu erreichen, wenn es auch nicht nötig war. Die Lage vom Ferienhaus war perfekt. Das Meer war zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Es gibt dort zwar keinen Sandstrand, dafür aber kleine Kiesbuchten und einen Steg ins Wasser. Torre Archiraffi und Riposto und damit zahlreich Restaurants und Bars waren ebenfalls fußläufig über die Uferpromenade in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten in erreichbarer Nähe von Sirakusa bis Taormina und natürlich der Ätna bieten für jeden Geschmack etwas.
