An attic apartment located in the heart of Riposto, set back from traffic in a quiet area, with a terrace overlooking the sea. Donna Sofia is pleased to welcome you with many amenities both inside and outside the house, as it is located in a central area yet close to the sea—the nearest small beach is about 200 meters away. It’s an excellent base for exploring the well-known tourist destinations along Sicily’s eastern coast. First and foremost, Taormina is about a 20-minute drive away, as is Castelmola. Acireale, Acitrezza, Aci Castello, and Catania are also nearby. A little further away, about an hour’s drive, are Syracuse, Noto, and the Vendicari Nature Reserve. Toward Messina, we recommend a trip to the Alcantara Gorges. A hike up Mount Etna is also highly recommended.

We’re located just a few meters from Piazza San Pietro, the renowned market, and the famous Port of Etna. The area is full of bars, a supermarket, bakeries, a butcher shop, a tobacco shop, a post office, restaurants, pizzerias, and traditional local spots. A 5-minute drive will take you to Fondachello Beach, characterized by small pebbles and a sandy seabed, or to Torre Archirafi, where you’ll find a rocky beach.
