Doe's Hideaway - rural retreat

A charming little getaway cabin surrounded by nature! Doe's Hideaway is a brand-new build completed in August 2023 with all new furniture and appliances. It offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. Nestled in a serene seeand secluded setting, this fully furnished home provides a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature and create lasting memories. We're off the beaten path, but near Magnolia & the Silos, Baylor, Cameron Park Zoo, ExtraCo Event Center, Downtown Waco, Spice Village, Texas Ranger Museum, and the Dr. Pepper Museum.

Doe's Hideaway features a private bedroom with a King-size bed, French doors opening to the backyard and excellent views of the private pond and surrounding nature. There is a full bath with luxury shower, soaker tub, and separate water closet in the hall near the main bedroom. Additionally, there is a 1/2 bath convenient to all entertaining and sleeping areas. The spacious open-concept living, dining, kitchen area boasts vaulted ceilings and a Queen size sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Guests will have access to the entire private cabin and access to explore all that the surroundings have to offer!

There is one RV hookup for water & electric available for an additional fee, and it is only rented out to cabin occupants. So if you are traveling by RV or bringing extra guests in an RV, they can stay on-site with you. Please send us a private message for details.

We also offer a military discount, and special add-on services like mid-week cleaning for longer stays, a stocked pantry based on your recipe/list, special occasion amenities and on-site mini gift shop. Send us a message for information about any special requests.

This was my second stay at Doe's Hideaway. It is a serene and beautiful setting, and the house is perfect appointed. It is 15-20 minutes easy commute from downtown Waco & Baylor University. It is perfect for porch sitting, walks, fishing and watching the stars.

Absolutely loved staying at Does Hideaway. No detail was avoided in making this a great place stay. Most rentals do not provide all the little extras that makes your stay so much better. Comfy beds, clean towels, coffee and creamer, snacks, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergents. They thought of everything. House is clean and roomy. The setting is so relaxing. Would stay here again!

My husband and I needed a break from the city and were looking for a place to relax. This house was absolutely perfect! We loved the location... close enough to Waco to walk around the downtown area and do a little shopping, yet far enough away to have some nice, open space. In the evening we enjoyed watching the sunset. Wish we could have stayed a little longer. We'd like to plan another trip back this fall!

Book Doe's today! The very best vacation rental that I have ever stayed at. Not only is it a lovely home with amazing surroundings, the owner thought of everything! Its also the little tnings too, such as an alarmclock, lovely bedding, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The directions and access were so easy! The stop sign at the gate was a great thought as well. I really could go on and on. Thank you!

This was the most beautiful, dreamy place for our stay! We absolutely loved it. It was clean and spacious for what we needed. We loved all the windows and natural light, the porches, the backyard area over looking the pond, the cute water feature, and of course all the beautiful farm land and animals surrounding the property.

Vacation Haven

This was the perfect place to stay for our family traveling from MI to TX for our daughter's graduation from Baylor. We loved having a relaxing place to retreat to after the busyness of graduation activities. The property is incredibly peaceful and the accommodations are clean and beautiful! A Perfect Stay

Everything about this cottage and setting are stunning! It was spotlessly clean, well stocked and so incredibly peaceful. I sat for nearly two hours doing absolutely NOTHING but watching birds and listening to the birds, and it brought such peace to my soul. Thank you, thank you!!

Peaceful Getaway

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the place. Doe’s Hideaway is even prettier in person. We enjoyed our mornings on the front and back porch drinking our coffee and reading our bibles. What a perfect way to start the day. Had fun fishing and walking around on property, the Alpaca's were entertaining too. The evening skies were spectacular while hearing all the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back when we visit our daughter at Baylor.

The best honeymoon getaway!

We had the best time here! It was the perfect place to get away from all of the craziness of our regular day-to-day. A serene and secluded area, where we definitely got a lot of fishing in! Just a short drive into town to do something during the hottest parts of the day. We absolutely loved it and hope to be back again!
