Riedenburg is an idyllic small town in the heart of the Altmühltal Nature Park in Bavaria, located between Ingolstadt and Regensburg. Surrounded by wooded Jura hills, cliffs and bends in the Altmühl river, the town offers a picturesque backdrop and a mixture of history, nature and enjoyment. The Altmühltal cycle path and the Altmühltal panorama trail lead directly through Riedenburg and make the hearts of cyclists and hikers beat faster. Great tours and circular hiking trails provide wonderful experiences. The towns of Kehlheim, Ingolstadt and Regensburg, which are well worth a visit, are also within easy reach
