Confirmation and instructions or timeline for instructions being provided by the host. We got the auto confirm from VRBO and the reminders from VRBO that our trip was coming up and we should be receiving instructions soon from our host. However communication from the host would have been appreciated or a response within 24 hours to our request would have been appreciated. The home was tidy but not clean. There was hair on the floors and in the corners of the steps. We also found someone else’s underwear in the bathroom when looking for towels. We had a reservation for 3 adults and 3 children however only had 3 towels and washcloths for all 6 of us. No extra towels were found. Overall the space is a great space and has the opportunity to become a 5 star rating with a few adjustments and attention to detail.

The house was average needs some cosmetic repairs to improve the appeal to the eye. Utilities not available for more than four, we were a party of 4 so it did not matter. The master bedroom bed was rather uncomfortable.

Just an Okay Stay

The location was in a quiet neighborhood and I rarely saw any neighbors. The check in process was smooth, but when we got in there was black hair on the floors in the bathroom and in the bedrooms. I messaged the host who said that the cleaners come to clean after every stay, but it was apparent that they did not do their job well, if at all. The furniture in the home of outdated and there were blinds missing on the patio door and the kitchen windows. I again messaged the host who apologized. There were holes in the doors where the you could see that the door stopper had pushed through from improper use. There were a few towels, but I ended up having to go buy towels at the Walmart down the street. Also, the faucet in the upstairs bathroom was extremely loose to the point that I couldn't turn the water on with one hand. We did not use the kitchen, most small appliances, dishwasher, washer, or dryer so I cannot attest to those items. However, the microwave was clean and worked properly. The WiFi worked well for the amount of devices we had. The couches were comfortable, but the beds have hard mattresses. My family stayed at the house over the weekend because it was too last minute to change, but if we could have, we would have changed where we were staying. I was in constant communication with the host, so this review does not include anything that I did not speak to the host about, but I felt that it was important to leave an accurate review.
