"Spotlessly clean, super location and the parking space was a godsend with how busy Broadway is during New Year. Having stayed in the village for the past 15 years this was one of the best properties that I have stayed in. "

"Ideally located opposite the River Avon,. Lovely outlook from the front of the property overlooking park and River Avon. Check in was fine and plenty of parking to the rear. Old building which has been furnished nicely inside but could do with some external work to windows including cleaning of windows and frames. The room was adequate and the bed had a mattress protector but one of the pillows had three blood stains on which was quite concerning. The receptionist did apologise and said...

"Friendly staff. Rooms clean. We ordered a full breakfast. Lots on the plate. Double of everything. No coffee machine for a proper coffee with breakfast. Overall a good nights stay."

"Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot. "

"The room was clean but the hotel as a whole i think needs a little redec. Reception staff were helpful on arrival. I’ll stay again next time i’m in Cheltenham."

"Was not provided with an access code. When I managed to contact the property manager they claimed no personal information was forwarded to them, ie; phone number or email from Expedia. I had to enlist the help of a nearby business to contact them 3 hours after the check in time. If Expedia doesn’t forward details why would you continue to use them as booking agents. Property was close enough to train station and quite location, front door was often not secured from the street "

"We loved our stay at Hyll. Set in beautiful Cotswold countryside with great views. The staff are amazing and so so friendly. The restaurant is calm and welcoming and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend"

Conveniently located to town center, shopping, and bus stop. Restaurant on site was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. "

"Stayed in the 'Dunlin room' Very poor lighting in the corridor. Wallpaper patched up poorly in the corridor by the bedrooms. Noisy extractor fan in our bathroom. Breakfast a little underwhelming, (overdone bacon and chewy sausage. Staff very attentive and polite. No signal on the tv celestial channels on two days. Limited bathroom amenities. Cobwebs on the windows in the breakfast area. "
