Relish great boating and fishing on this full REC lake, explore connected lakes on the ten lake chain, do some eagle watching, bike or ATV on one of the nearby trails, play tennis or shoot hoops on the private court, or just sit and relax (indoors or out) to enjoy the beautiful view. Memories are made here!

    Cap off your day with your favorite beverage as you lounge to watch the spectacular sunset! When you're tuckered out from all the fun and fresh lake air, retreat to this rustic, cozy, and newly remodeled north woods cottage. There are 2 comfy bedrooms, (1 Queen, 1 Twin/Full Bunk bed),and a spacious bathroom with shower, which make this the perfect cottage for a family or for two couples to share.

    Enjoy cooking out on the full patio with table, gas grill, and fire pit. There's also a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and everything you need to prepare and serve meals. Minocqua, Woodruff and Lac du Flambeau are all within 15 minutes drive if you prefer to dine out or carry in. Try one of Wisconsin's famous supper clubs in the area.

    Guests will enjoy a private (shared with one other cottage) dock. Bring your own boat, or enjoy the use of our paddle boat and kayaks.

    Guests will find this the perfect retreat - removed from any small town by just a short drive from favorite areas for dining, shopping and plenty of other activities and attractions including Lake of the Torches Casino and Fred Sheer's Lumberjack Show. This cottage also includes Smart TV with high-speed Wi-Fi. Pets considered. Parking and garage space available. Free on site laundry facilities available during warmer months.

Great place on Fence Lake. Host was super accommodating. Boat dock has electricity. Everything as described. We stayed a month and are already coming back!

Perfect spot for your Northwoods experience!

Everything was As Advertised, the host was very communicative, the place is very nice (and clean). The location was perfect for getting the beauty of the Northwoods, but also easy to get where you need to go! Great stay!

Second year in a row here. Absolutely loved our entire stay. This cabin is perfect for us and our two fur babies. It was very relaxing and had the perfect view of the lake and all of the amenities we needed. Looking forward to going back!!

Fishing trip

Everything was better than expected. Place was larger than we thought. Traveled with a 2 year old and were able to fit a crib in the second bedroom. Everything was very clean upon arrival and we had all of the kitchen supplies we needed, especially coffee pot. Sunsets were beautiful before the smoke from Canadian fires arrived. Host communication was super checking on us with smoke and really hot weather. Would definitely consider returning next year.

Cozy cabin, conveniently located

With access to Fence Lake, and a short drive to Minocqua, this home made the perfect home base for our family vacation up north! Neil was a great host, the cabin was clean and well stocked with essentials. There were lots of helpful labels, and even board games for our family to enjoy on colder/rainy days! We will definitely be back!

Camp Flambeau

The weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t have luck fishing. The cabin was nice and clean. The dock and lake were nice as well. Overall nice property. Neil the owner was easy to communicate with.

Relaxing and beautiful

Neil and Lynn were great hosts. Casual friendly and relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed sightseeing, boating through the 10 lake chain, fishing (caught a 19” walleye off the dock.) golf and the beautiful town of Minocqua. Loved the ski show in town as well. We will return. John and Sally

Peaceful Getaway by the Lake

We spent a wonderful week here in June. There is a lovely view of the lake from the front windows. Chairs are provided to sit outside in the shade and look at the water. We used the fire pit almost every night. The cabin is nicely furnished and a great place to hang out and read and watch streaming shows. The beds are very comfortable. There is a great collection of board games. Neil and Lynne were gracious hosts and very responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

Great base camp for north woods trip

This property served as a fantastic base camp for our annual trip to the north woods. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. On the first night, we noticed the exterior lights were not working. I contacted the host, and he had them repaired by the next day. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The bonus was the sunsets over the lake.

We spent a week at the cottage and had a great stay. Sunsets are amazing and we loved having the boat dock. We have friends across the lake and it made it easy to boat or jet ski across. The cabin is well stocked and cozy. It was hot during the day since there is no air conditioning, but we were rarely inside during the day as we spent most of our time in the lake. Nights were plenty cool enough to sleep with all the windows open. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place for you, but if you’re looking for something that offers access to the lake and summer camp vibes, we would recommend this place for sure. We’re already talking about possibly heading back next summer!

Cute, comfortable cabin on a beautiful lake

The cabin is cute, welcoming, comfortable, and clean. The lake is beautiful and clear! We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the kayaks and paddle boat available there. We also took advantage of the tennis court while we were there. We found everything as described and a few extras in books, travel magazines, maps, and games to use while we were there. We appreciated the cabin and the host and would highly recommend it! It was hard to leave!

Wonderful Getaway!

We stayed with our dogs and enjoyed a relaxing time with many options to choose from. We fished nearby lakes, hiked on trail right across highway, enjoyed the kayaks and fantastic sunsets! We had an awesome fire at firepit too.. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Thanks for providing us a place to enjoy the beauty of the Northwoods!

May fishing trip stay at Goldfinch lane

This rental was a very positive experience. The cabin is well kept and just the right size. The area is quiet and peaceful.
