I paid a little over $400 a night for a room near the airport with shuttle service. I was told someone was "sick, and that things happen" at 5:45 am after being told a 5:15 ride was arranged. Then I was told that I had "more time" than another couple who were waiting for their ride, and to wait until they were dropped off ...I ended up taking a cab--whick obviated the entire reason I stayed at a near airport hotel ( the cab ride was over $30 for a five minute ride, but that is another story.)
The room was basic, with a window that did not open. The hallway smelled like mildew and a dead rodent. There was no elevator, and our room was on the second floor (we had 3 large bags and three small ones).
Generally, a poor experience that I paid much $ for.
