  • Villa Kairos is located in the heights of the small village of Skouloufia in a hamlet of a few villas about 15km from the center of the seaside resort of Rethymno in the north of the island and only a few kilometers from the first beaches.

    Crete is accessible by air or by sea. Two international airports allow you to reach the island:
    - Heraklion Airport located approximately 75km east of Rethymno.
    - Chania Airport located approximately 65 km west of Rethymno.
    The port of Piraeus near Athens allows to embark for the port of Heraklion.

    Villa Kairos is a recent contemporary construction (2012) on one level of approximately 135m2 fully meeting the new Greek tourism standards and has received EOT approval No 1041K910029641 (Hellenic tourist office) as well as hotels or rooms houses.

    Its location allows you to enjoy a 180 ° panorama overlooking the Cretan countryside and its olive trees, the White Mountains, the bay of Rethymno and of course the Big Blue. Built on a private and fenced plot of around 1350m2, it has a large Mediterranean-style garden and a 45m2 swimming pool with a specific pool for toddlers (cleaning and maintenance provided during the tourist season). Two adjoining terraces equipped with pergola allow you to enjoy Cretan idleness at all times. An elevated terrace also allows you to fully enjoy the panorama and the sunsets over the bay.

Wir hatten eine schönen Urlaub in der Villa. Der Ausblick und der Außenbereich ist perfekt. Die Kommunikation während des Aufenthaltes wenn wor ein Problem hatten ging mit Pascal reibungslos. Einpaar Kleinigkeiten müssen in der Villa Instandgesetzt werden, wie Türklinken , Klospülung... Sonst war alles in Ordnung

Wunderschön!

Wir haben etwas gebraucht, um die Villa zu finden. Aber es hat sich gelohnt! Wirklich wunderschön! Es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Haushalt braucht. Der Ausblick ist unbezahlbar. Ein klares Muss ist ein Mietwagen, da die nächste Bushaltestelle ca. 7km entfernt ist und auch Taxen das Dörfchen nicht befahren.

Ein Haus das keine Wünsche offen hält

Wir waren vom ersten Moment begeistert. Die Beschreibung im Vorhinein war leicht verständlich, bei Fragen konnte man sich aber jederzeit an Pascal wenden. Wir waren beeindruckt von der Sauberkeit besonders in der Küche und den Bädern. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden. Es war schon fast wie in einem Hotel. Wir können das Haus jedem Empfehlen, der sich fernab vom Trubel eine Auszeit wünscht und dennoch schnell am Meer, in der Stadt oder auf einen der zahlreichen Olivenhainen unterwegs sein möchte.

Absoluter Traumurlaub

Wir hatten bereits einige sehr schöne und hochwertige Ferienhäuser für unsere Reisen gebucht, die Villa Kairo war eine der schönsten, wenn nicht sogar die absolute Nummer 1. Zusätzlich zu allen bereits genannten Vorzugen möchten wir noch einmal auf die wirklich großartige Lage mit wundervoller Fernsicht auf die Küste und auf die extravagante Dachterasse für unvergessliche Abende mit Genuss des Sonneruntergangs sowie des Sternenhimmels verweisen. In besonderer Erinnerung bleibt uns außerdem die wirklich überaus geschmackvolle Inneneinrichtung des Hauses. Was sollen wir sagen - wir hoffen, wir können irgendwann einmal wiederkommen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Uns hat es im Haus super gefallen. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet und es gibt viele Orte zum Verweilen. Jeder hat seinen Lieblingsplatz gefunden. Der Pool sieht nicht nur schön aus, sondern war für uns als Familie auch super zu nutzen. Unsere Highlights im Haus: Sonnenuntergang auf der Dachterrasse und Sterne schauen nachts am Pool.

Just the ticket

The villa was so well equipped and really lovely location. The pool absolutely heaven for cooling off after a day site seeing. Local taverna café really good - no choice of food but all you need at the end of the day. Local Cretan wine really surprising good. Local police could do with learning a few manners. though! Beware you cannot turn left onto the Rethymno highway although there is no sign to say you can't! They don't make tourists feel very welcome despite needing our money!

Traumhaftes Haus mit imposantem Grundstück, Top-Aussicht und tollem Pool

Wir haben hier eine wunderschöne Ferienwoche verlebt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet, nicht wie ein Vermietungsobjekt, sondern wie ein bewohntes Privathaus. Das erzeugt Gemütlichkeit. Die Lage ca. 15 km vom Strand und den touristischen Gebieten war perfekt für uns. Man hat eine königliche Aussicht auf das Meer und die Berge. Das Haus bietet viel Platz. Noch mehr das Grundstück mit dem schönen Garten, der Poolbereich und die Sonnenterrasse auf dem Dach. Diese lud uns morgens zum Morgentee in der Sonne. Auch die zwei Regentage waren kein Problem. Mit Lesen und Film schauen haben wir die Ruhe genossen. Wer es ruhig, großzügig und hochwertig mag (bequeme Betten!) und sich an der Aussicht nicht satt sehen kann, der ist hier richtig! Wer Shops, Kneipen und Tourismusrummel mag eher nicht. Ein Auto ist ein muss. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder...

Traumvilla in den Bergen

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern in der Villa Kairos und wir waren völlig begeistert. Der Außenbereich, der schöne Pool und der riesige Garten sind ein Traum. Genauso die Aussicht auf das Meer und auf die Berge bzw in das Tal. Die Villa wird auch offensichtlich von den Eigentümern auch selbst genutzt, daher ist die Villa und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ein Gasgrill, ein Holzkohlegrill, viele Sonnenliegen und Schirme, eine Hängematte und ein Hängesessel. Alles sehr liebevoll und Geschmackvoll. Wir waren in 3 Villen auf Kreta, in der Villa Kairos haben wir uns am wohlsten gefühlt. Lediglich die Bettwäsche war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ein Auto ist jedoch zwingend erforderlich. Strand und Supermärkte ca 15 Minuten Fahrzeit entfernt. Wir kommen sicher noch mal wieder!

Idylle & Erholung pur! - Idyll & pure recreation!

Der erste Eindruck vor Ort hat das beworbene Objekt noch übertroffen! Eine sehr gepflegte, sehr große Anlage, liebevoll angelegt und mit Charme ausgestattet. Wir können einfach nur voll des Lobes sein. Pascal ist ein toller Gastgeber, der jederzeit bei möglichen Fragen online schnell antwortete. Die Übergabe war einfach, die drei Schlafzimmer mit den drei Bädern sind prima, Klimaanlage in allen Räumen, alle 2 Tage kommt jemand vorbei der die Wasserqualität des Pools überprüft (selten haben wir einen solch tollen Pool erleben dürfen), komplett eingerichtete Küche mit Nespresso Kaffeemaschine (Kapseln) und die Sonnenuntergänge sind, wie von allen anderen auch geschildert, grandios. Man ist eben ca. 15 min. mit dem Auto vom Strand entfernt (Serpentinenstrasse), was uns aber nichts ausmachte, da so gewollt! Direkt unten an der Hauptstrasse nach Rethymnon können wir ein erstklassiges Lokal empfehlen, die Taverna eleven, sehr lecker, sehr günstig. Das Haus ist seinen Preis wert!!! Vielen Dank! The first impression has surpassed the advertised object! A very well maintained, very large complex, lovingly laid out and equipped with charm. We were really hooked! Pascal is a great host who answered any questions online quickly at any time. The handover was easy, the three bedrooms with the three bathrooms are great, air conditioning in all rooms, every 2 days somebody checks the water quality of the pool (rarely we have experienced such a nice and clean pool), fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine (capsules) and the sunsets are, as described by all the others, terrific. You are just about 15 min. by car from the beach (serpentine road), but we did not mind, because so wanted! Nearto the main road to Rethimnon, we can recommend a first-class restaurant, the Taverna Eleven, located directly on the beach. Very tasty, reasonably priced. The house is worth the money!! Thank you very much!

Wundervolles Haus mit traumhafter Aussicht

Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen ruhigen Dorf ca. 15 Autofahrminuten von der Küste entfernt. Wir haben wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge von der Terrasse aus genossen. Mit viel Liebe ist das Haus eingerichtet und die Küche wartet mit viel Equipement auf. Wie schon in vorherigen Kommentaren wird für dieses Haus ein Auto fürs Einkaufen sowie für Ausflüge benötigt. Die Kommunikation mit Pascal (dem Vermieter) verlief unkompliziert. Wir könnnen dieses Haus sehr empfehlen!

Incredible views!

This home was not short of exactly what we were looking for! Room enough for all, the pool was a great sanctuary. The rooftop was the destination for our sunset glass of wine each night. There was nothing lacking in any aspect of this home. The only thing to be aware of is that it is a bit out of the way, which we loved, but might not be what everyone is looking for.

Exceptional villa

This is an outstanding property set in beautiful gardens. The villa is spacious and equipped with all of the comforts of home. Great views from all of the outdoor areas and a wonderful infinity pool. We have stayed in several villas over the years and this ranks in the top 5%. Would highly recommend!

Ein Traumobjekt zum Abschalten

Die Villa Kairos ist das ideale Domizil, um den Stress und die Hektik des Alltags hinter sich zu lassen. Die absolut ruhige und abgeschiedene Lage oberhalb des kleines Dorfes Skouloufia (ca. 15 Minuten Fahrzeit bis zum Küstenort Rheythmno) sorgt für Erholungsatmosphäre. Das gemütliche Haus, der herrliche Pool - Entspannung pur. Der Sonnenuntergang auf der Dachterrassse toppt aber alles. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Pascal ist hervorragend und sehr zuvorkommend. Für Vor-Ort-Fragen waren zwei Nachbarn sofort hilfsbereit zur Stelle. Ganz kleine Abstriche muss man bei der Sauberkeit in der Küche und den Auflagen (Pool und Stühle) machen. Dort das fällt im Verhältnis zu allen anderen Highlights kaum ins Gewicht. Insgesamt ein herrlicher Urlaub in der Villa Kairos. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit in Deinem herrlichen Haus und Deiner hervorragenden Hilfsbreitschaft.

Traumhafte Villa

Wir haben 17 wunderschöne Tage in der Villa verbracht. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Lage ist sehr ruhig und die Sonnenuntergänge von der Dachterrasse waren jeden Abend auf‘s neue spektakulär. Leider war die mehrfach erwähnte Taverne im Ort in diesem Jahr geschlossen, aber dank gut ausgestatteter Küche und Gasgrill konnten wir uns sehr gut selbst versorgen. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall nötig, da man fussläufig kein Geschäft erreichen kann. Alles in allem ein wunderschönes Haus und ein sehr sauberer Pool. Schade nur, dass es am Abreisetag Kommunikationsprobleme gab und wir bereits vor Check-out Zeit dass Haus verlassen mussten.
