"We stayed in the Sultan's Palace. Amazing room, but layout is cramped and didn't leave a lot of space to open suitcases. Staff quick to help with anything. We didn't have an iron or board, but they brought it in a few minutes. Plug-ins could be better for this room. The bed is on a platform up some stairs, but there is no nightstand or outlets, so you either need a long cord or leave charging devices down the steps. Parking was very easy and felt secure. You're going to hear your neighbors...

"I mean it was okay at best but my problem was just with how outdated the rooms are and there’s not an actual bathroom and it’s weirdly cramped. I don’t recommend it to anyone who’s tall because the roof is pretty low."

"The room was clean, but we were scared to leave anything in our car. It seemed like there were a lot of sketchy people around the lobby when we checked in, and we were unhappy. Definitely not a place I’d go back to. The rooms were fine, but the lobby and parking were quite uncomfortable."

"The room was very dated, but tastefully updated, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was traveling with a dog, (who stayed in a crate) and the room was very large and roomy. The AC was very quiet which was nice - I had a full size refrigerator microwave and hot plate!; and a TV guide that I could actually understand! Breakfast was very nice also. I would definitely stay again."

"This place is a scam. The room we had cost $354.00 and was a small attic, with old cheap jungle stuff lying around. No AC, No windows that opened, and one window you can look out, nothing like the pictures showed, NOTHING. Breakfast was 45min late, in the morning we could not find anyone who we could speak with, that didn't need a translator app. This felt like a room where a John would take their trick, except as expensive as the Grand America. Horrible place."

"I didn’t like how the building looked like it has been maintenance in a long time, some stuff in my room was either broken or didn’t work like the main room light, the microwave couldn’t even heat up my food for some reason and the bathroom door was missing a doorknob. The bathtub was disgusting as well. Major service needs to be done on probably most of the room or the entire building."
