Stunning Views on the Coast

Neighbours are few and far between. The area is extremely quiet and traffic volume is very low. There are a number of locations nearby to launch a boat. There are some great fishing spots on and off the water. Elliots Bay (5-10 walk) hosts surfing competitions and is a popular surf beach for locals. Taupiri Bay (5 min walk) is one of the safest swim beaches in the North. Little Taupiri Bay (across the road) is your own private little bay (although the locals sometimes enjoy it as well). We regularly see dolphins, Humpback Whales and Orca's from the deck of our house!

You will get to enjoy our Spa (Hot Tub). We have a Hot Springs Aria Spa Pool installed. This 5 person spa pool is top of the line and has been voted the best Spa Pool (Internationally) by Consumer Digest on more than one occasion. Sit back and make the most of the 35 jets this spa has to offer plus enjoy the sea views and the stars at night. A luxury added just to ensure you really do get to relax at Little Taupiri, Stunning Views!

The house is 250sqm with 3 double bedrooms with 1 x Super King bed and 1 x King bed and 1 x Queen bed. There is also a new queen sized sofa bed, in the upstairs living room, that can be used as a fourth bed to accommodate 8 guests. The new sofa bed was purchased in December 2022 (based on 1 review that mentioned the previous sofa bed was no longer comfortable). The upstairs consists of a master bedroom with an ensuite, open plan kitchen/living room and internal garage. The downstairs consists of 2 x bedrooms, full kitchen, lounge and bathroom with bath and shower. Both levels have large decks to enjoy the views and sun. Double glazed windows throughout for warmth and quiet.

Guests have access to kayaks, gym equipment including a spin cycle, pilates reformer and free weights. You will need a car. The nearest shopping centre is Russell which is 25kms away. There are some beautiful walks in the area including Cape Brett and along Elliots Bay (and the joining bays).

Special conditions:
Access to the property is via a code for the automatic gate and main door keypad. Someone will be available to talk to should you need support getting in but all guests find accessing the property very straight forward owing to the detailed instructions shared upon confirming your booking.

The expectation is that you treat the home as if it was yours - with care. We simply ask that you leave the place as you found it. Please smoke outside.

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$150.00 per stay); Linen (included)

Please note there are security cameras in and around the property. These are used by the owners to ensure the property is protected when no one is there. The two internal cameras will be covered when guests are there but uncovered when the house is empty (for security purposes).

Ive stayed a many locations around the north island over the years and this one takes the cake. Amazing views and space. It is very well equip. They have kayak gear, snorkeling gear, fishing equipment and others to keep you busy. Would love to comeback.

Stunning home on the bay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The views were stunning! The property was pristine and well appointed. Perfect Northlands getaway while also being an easy drive to the Bay of Islands area. Loved it!

Magical getaway

We (three old friends) spent two nights here to celebrate a birthday. It surpassed expectations in every way. The view is the star player, just incredible. We ended up chatting on the deck at great length, occasionally looking through binoculars for whales (no luck). Very comfortable bedrooms, well appointed. Excellent kitchen. Loads of extras, beautifully stocked with things to do, like swimming, spa, games, marveling at the view! Absolutely wonderful. Hosts are great communicators. Spotlessly clean. Loved every second.

Little Taupiri Bay: Stunning Views

Amazing location- quiet/ secluded. Close to the beach. Stunning Views - sea vista from Cape Brett through to the Poor Knight Islands House - spacious and clean. Everything has been thought of. The pics and descriptions are accurate. Check in process- contactless and easy to follow. Property Owner - excellent to deal with. Communications are honest & timely. They tell all you need to know about the property and the surrounding area.

Amazing views and secluded beach!

Perfect place for a quiet retreat with every amenity, nice-to-have’s and modern conveniences thought of and there for you so all you need to do is grocery shopping before arriving and then enjoy. Views were outstanding, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas were all nicely appointed. Enjoyed the secluded beach at the bottom of the driveway across the road, day trips via boats and hiking around the Bay of Islands and every sunrise and sunset from the decks. Plenty more to do on my next visit back!

Amazing place!

We (myself, my husband and our adult daughter) spent 3 nights at the Little Taupiri and we all wished we could stay longer. The house was amazing - a little piece of luxury in the beautiful surroundings, with lots of privacy. We loved the deck, the views and pretty much everything about the place. We will definitely be back!

The perfect getaway

We loved every minute of our stay at Little Taupiri. Everything you needed was at your fingertips; everything - from the linen to the wifi and the views - were of the highest quality. We will definitely return, especially to take a quiet, relaxing break.

Relaxing with mesmerising views

Could sit and watch the ocean for hours at Little Taupiri, in fact we did! Binoculars are a must. We saw dolphins and orcas on this visit. House is so comfortable, quality appliances and furniture. Bed linen was lovely. Tv, wifi all worked perfect. Spa was lovely to enjoy after a long day at the beach walking. Favourite part is the view, sitting in the beanbag reading under the shade of the umbrella. Magnificent. Second visit for us. We will be back. Wonderful hosts who we really appreciate sharing their holiday home with us as it’s very special.

Fantastic home!

This home was absolutely fantastic. Had everything we could possibly need for our week long stay. The kayaks, outdoor hot shower, spa were huge bonuses. Oh my goodness, and the views - they are phenomenal! I could never decide which comfy chair or deck bean bag to sit in to get the best view. Book this place, you won’t regret it!

A nice break away

We have been to Little Taupiri a number of times and the views are still breath taking to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather being not so good one day. The house is so well set up that we always feel entertained. The owners are great with communication and provide us with everything we need to know. We look forward to our next trip!

Beyond expectations

I think this is a bach where the owners clearly have vision. Yes it is a stunning location but the home and all the extras are there so you can appreciate that to the fullest. Thank you for opening up your place for guests to enjoy. We loved every moment we were there and really appreciated the thought and care that has gone into every detail of the property to create a wonderful relaxing stay.

Great location, amazing views - Everything you need for a great stay!

The property was exactly as advertised. A beautiful spot with lovely views and a spacious house. Nice extras available, like the spa and pizza oven. Comfy beds and nice and clean. Definitely on our list of places to return to.
