Thanks to some unhappy reviews, we took actions to make your stay at La Clarissa always a better experience.
We have:
- a brand new fridge, renovated table & chairs and marble table on the terrace
- done an accurate maintenace at all the windows.
- a new cleaning staff.
- The parking now has less slope to get in.
Take note that, the parking is an option, you may ask for that but, it won’t be be included in the website prices.

'La Clarissa', a romantic cottage on the S.S. Amalfitana, is 800 meters from the pretty village of Minori. Attention to detail, with the large terrace projected on Marmorata Bay, it's ideal for a couple looking for a relaxing corner nestled in the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The house consists of two levels connected internally by a spiral staircase and externally by a large staircase on the terrace.
Upper level: bedroom with double bed, bathroom (WC) and balcony to the sea.
Lower level: living room with sofa bed, bathroom with shower, kitchen and terrace overlooking the sea with outdoor shower.
The house has a private parking space at 150 mt. At 50 meters from the villa there is a bus stop linking the tourist resorts of the coast (Amalfi, Ravello, Positano). From the pier of Minori boats leave connecting with daily trips, even in the evening, Positano and Amalfi

We loved the balcony view, it was stunning and relaxing! The shops and restaurants were close and when we needed transportation the hosts helped us navigate our way with information for the water taxi and procured a driver for us on one of our excursions. The rooms were immaculate and the views cannot be beat!!!

Our four-night stay in Ravello was absolutely out of this world. When you first arrive, the outside might not look like much …. but don’t let that initial impression fool you. Step inside, and everything only gets better. The view was even more stunning than the photos. Having a private balcony surrounded by flowers and lemon trees, with sweeping sea views, made it truly unforgettable. Sunrise and sunset here are pure magic.Mario was beyond fantastic as a host. He met us at arrival, showed us how to operate everything, and even helped arrange transportation through Enzo, a local golf cart driver. His warmth and hospitality made all the difference in our stay.As a bonus, the apartment had a washer, which was essential for us on a longer trip. Between the unbeatable location, breathtaking views, and incredible host, this is a place we can’t recommend highly enough.

This little apartment is fabulous. The panoramic view of the Mediterranean from the veranda is to die for. The town of Minori is a short walk and had everything you need. The apartment is small, but it has everything nicely arranged.Also Mr Mario was a great help with showing us the town and with transportation.We didn't want to leave.

Amalfi Dreams was a dream come true!

I cannot begin to thank Mario enough for the attention and care he gave my family on our trip to the Amalfi Coast. My sister and I lost our significant others recently and planning a trip without them was nothing short of an act of courage. Mario was always a WhatsApp text away with an answer, a suggestion or a remedy. From beginning to end we felt he truly cared. And a huge thanks to Dario for giving that memorable ride along the Amalfi Coast all the way to Positano in a golf cart! And thanks also for stopping at the Fjord Furore!!! We are recommending La Clarissa/ Amalfi Dreams to EVERYONE we know. The house was perfect! We actually chose to stay and relax there as opposed to over extending ourselves visiting places like Pompeii and Amalfi although both were EASILY accessible. Pompeii we are saving for our next trip. Quaint cottage with sprawling terrace to enjoy magnificent seaside views of the Amalfi Coast.

Our stay at the La Clarissa cottage was spectacular! Our host Mario was friendly, informative and accommodating, he contacted us the day before to arrange a meeting place and time for check in. Mario accompanied us to the cottage for a tour and overview of La Clarissa. Aside from the tricky location of the cottage on the Via Marmorata, (the main coastal road), the location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk to the town of Minori. The cottage was bright, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of room for 2 of us, with separate living spaces upstairs/downstairs and a bathroom on each floor, the kitchen had everything we needed. The spiral staircase was a bit challenging for my 6’4” husband, however there is a second set of straight stairs outside that lead to the second floor as an alternative. The outdoor space with the huge terrace is why I chose this rental, it was absolutely phenomenal! The La Clarissa exceeded my expectations, I would definitely recommend this rental for a couple looking for rest and relaxation with incredible views of the seaside of Amalfi Coast.Pros: seaside views, comfortable/clean cottage, location near small non-touristy town, plenty of restaurants/shopping, easy access to ferry, bus.Cons: location on busy road with minimal walking space, traffic noise at times, not ideal for children or those with accessibility needs..

The perfect writer’s escape

My spouse and I took a working vacation to the Amalfi Coast to both write and see the area. This cottage is small while providing all that wea needed: small kitchen for simple home meals, a full bath plus small half bath next to bedroom, and small living room. Of course, the selling point is the stunning view combined with privacy. The wide terrace/patio is exactly as pictured and adds so much space. We practically lived on the terrace. Also, Mario, the property manager, is extremely helpful, answering a million questions and even sending a taxi to rescue us when we hiked up to Ravello (it’s 1000 steps straight up!) too late in the day to walk back down in the dark. The cottage is literally on the main coast road, so there is noise from the road, which we quickly adjusted to. Also, unit is on two floors, which worked fine for us. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Amalfi Dreams - Nailed it!

Everywhere you look is gorgeous. Mario was the perfect host. He helped us get acquainted with the town and set up drivers for us. Without him, our vacation would not have been as good! The walks to Minori was a delight. The people of the town were warm and welcoming. Catching a bus to Amalfi was easy and inexpensive. I can't wait to go back!!

Fantastic retreat

Cottage was beautiful with views to match. Access is right on the street...literally. But that is the way in the area. Mario was fantastic help getting us situated and checked on us to make sure everything was perfect. We are looking forward to returning again in the future. Highly rexommend for a quiet stay in the area.

Absolute dream

Our stay was amazing. The apartment was adorable, the location was great (just a short walk into Minori and the bus stops a few steps from the door) and the private balcony was perfection. Mario is the warmest, kindest, and most helpful host we have ever encountered through our rentals on this app, truly making us feel like friends/family visiting. beautiful house but a few notes

This property has a magnificent view and plenty of charm. The pizza oven is incredible. However, the parking spot requires a walk down a very busy road to the house. It's a narrow, two-way, winding road with no shoulder, where the cars go whizzing past very quickly. Especially at night, it didn't feel safe to walk from the car to the house. The house also could be better equipped; there were no extra blankets and it was very cold downstairs (we were there in the winter) and there also was nothing provided for us to clean with -- no paper towels, no mop, and no broom which presented problems for us. In spite of these things, it is a beautiful property and a special place.

This lovely little apartment has amazing views - they more than compensate for any small inconveniences. The spiral staircase could be difficult for some. The apartment is very well equipped inside with clean and modern facilities. Mario was particularly helpful throughout our stay.

Fantastic View!

After a bit of difficulty finding this place, our fault for not using google maps! we were welcomed by the property manager who had been very patient with us attempting to locate the apartment. The apartment is as advertised. There is a spiral staircase connecting the bedroom and the main floor that is quite steep but we utilized the outside staircase to carry our bags in and out. There is noise as other reviewers have stated but we live in a large city and were not bothered by the traffic. The view from the patio and bedroom walkout is spectacular! We took advantage of both the bbq and a washing machine. Parking was off site and cost extra. We chose to leave the car parked and walked everywhere. The host provided a few items for our first breakfast which was greatly appreciated.
