Beautiful private home close to stunning lagoon

Kavera Beach house is across the road from the beautiful white sands of Kavera beach and lagoon. There is direct access to the beach which is less than 50 metres away, with shops, transport and tourist attractions all within a short walking distance.
The property itself is set on a flat quarter acre site, and is fully fenced for privacy, providing a secure sanctuary to enjoy holiday living in a relaxed setting among the tropical gardens.
The house has a covered verandah, which has comfortable lounges, a barbeque and outdoor dining area, providing the best of indoor outdoor flow for island living. It has a well-equipped cook’s kitchen, food processor, blender and Ninja bullet. The large laundry has a washing machine and dryer. Wifi is available, and there is a Smart TV, Blu Ray DVD, and blue tooth speaker system. The house has been set up specifically for holiday living.
Kavera District is within the village of Arorangi, on the favoured western side of the island, which is sheltered from the prevailing trade winds, and enjoys the magnificent tropical sunsets over the lagoon.
Kavera beach provides safe swimming for adults and children and is private and secluded, ideal for lazing on the beach and exploring the lagoon.
Within a short walk is the Aroa Marine Reserve, which provides some of the best lagoon snorkelling in Rarotonga, and is safe for both adults and children. Snorkelling gear and Kayaks are available for hire at the dive shop located at the local shops which are less than 100 metres away, and also include a general store and petrol, takeaways, a craft and produce market and bus stop.
There are a variety of restaurants and cafes within close proximity including the Cocoputt Alehouse and Waterline, who both have live music, and the Shipwreck Bar is a short stroll along the beach.
The property has direct access to a local inland lane, which winds its way through the taro and other plantations and eventually up towards the mountainous interior.

Friends and I stayed at the Kavera Beach house this week. I can confidently say that you’ll be happy here. It’s quiet, it’s clean, it’s secure and the yard is peaceful with several seating areas in the garden. The beach is clean with direct access across the street, literally an 30 second walk. All the amenities made for an easy stay, everything has been thought of to suit your needs. It was nice to meet the host, she stopped by to check that everything was to our liking on the first day, she wasn’t intrusive at all and was respectful of our privacy. She was very welcoming and helpful when I needed to add another night to the reservation. If you’re considering this property, don’t hesitate, it’s a gem.

What can i say, Kavera house is absolutely amazing, stayed 2 years ago and seeing how much work has gone into the home this tome we stayed is awesome. Great swimming literally 20 meters from tge front gate, shops and quick bites a 2 minute walk. All and all a fabulous house great hosts and already looking forward to bokking with them again

Family Trip

The property was easy to access and had all the things you would need for a family holiday without the need to purchase loads of extras.There was one small hiccup during our stay but it was rectified really quickly and didn’t put any dampener on our stay. The location, was excellent and was literally across the road from one of the best beach/ snorkelling spots which for the majority of the ten days was enjoyed by us alone and no one else was there. The Information, tips and guides to where to go and find anything we needed to do or get was excellent and the advice for vehicle hireage was well received and worked out perfectly for us. For a family of 5 adults (two couples and a single) it was a perfect size and layout and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, condiments and a whole heap more. This was great for the few times we ate in.

What a gem of a place. Comfortable and clean with all amenities on a secluded section and so close to a stunning lagoon. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of a holiday in Rarotonga.

Exactly what we needed – a Rarotonga gem!

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The WiFi was reliable (no need for a hotspot), and the Smart TV with Netflix and YouTube was great for keeping our 2-year-old entertained. The location was ideal – just a short walk to the beach and a nearby petrol station for snacks and quick essentials.Fiona, the local host, was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond – from taking the bins out for us to checking in throughout the week with calls and visits to make sure we were okay. We really felt looked after, and in return, we tried to leave the place spotless when we checked out. A nice touch was that Cristine, the owner, even called us from New Zealand to check if we had settled in alright – that level of care really stood out.We loved the “pay it forward” idea – leaving behind any unused groceries for the next guests. Such a thoughtful touch that adds to the welcoming vibe.The house itself has a classic “beach house” feel – relaxed, cosy, and true to the island spirit. The towel and linen shelf was so handy, with plenty of towels and facecloths. The dryer came in clutch on those rainy days when we couldn’t hang our laundry out.We arrived after dark (after spending time with family straight from the airport), and Fiona had already turned the lights on and prepped the nozzle coils – such a warm welcome after a long day.No complaints at all. We’d love to book again next time we’re in Raro – if we can snag it in time!

beautiful house great location

We loved our stay in the Kavera Beach House. Cristine was really easy to work with throughout the booking - responsive and accommodating. Local host Fiona took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is right across from a pristine, almost empty beach. Would definitely stay here again if we ever had the opportunity.

A Slice of Paradise

We stayed at this holiday home in Rarotonga for just over two weeks and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The property was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to the beach, shops and local attractions, yet peaceful and private allowing us to truly relax. The hosts were warm and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. We especially loved the outdoor space, which were perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying meals. This home was a perfect base for exploring the beauty of Rarotonga. We’ll cherish the memories made here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a tropical getaway. Private Piece of Paradise

Kavera Beach House is a beautiful home tastefully decorated in relaxing tones. “Just bring your clothes” we were told by the Property Owner. She was right about not needing anything else. We were spoilt with ample towels, additional bedding, multiple tables to eat at and plenty of crockery and kitchen aids. The outdoor shower tucked away in the corner is a fantastic touch. We visited many beaches on the island during our stay, but the beach across the road from Kavera Beach House out shone all of them. The sand is soft, there are fish in its waters and it was rarely frequented by others. We often had this little piece of paradise all to ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. It was our first visit to Rarotonga but definitely not our last.

Beautiful location, great gardens, excellent house

Had a great stay at the Beach house with my wife and 2 daughters. Everything you need in the house for a relaxing time. Sunsets over the lagoon across the road. Great snorkelling, humpbacks passing by over the reef. Shops and bars/restaurants close by. Would thoroughly recommend this place. Thanks to Fiona and Christine for making it so easy.

Wonderful garden oasis

We had a great time at this wonderful property. The large secluded garden is perfect to relax and the house is modern, spacious and comfortable. The house is equipped with everything you need and the interiour is very tastefully arranged. There is a shop closeby where you can get the basic groceries We also enjoyed snorkeling in the Aroa area which is just a short walk away. Many thanks to the property manager Fiona who was very helpful! We also appreciated the welcome package including the water supply! We can highly recommend this lovely place! just a a shortvwalk away.

Well located comfortable beach house

Very secure property with great gardens. Spacious outdoor seating and dining. Furniture and linen in house had many options all comfortable. Very good new smart TV plus other entertainment options. New appliances available. We would definitely stay again.

Well supplied home in a beautiful location

We absolutely loved our stay here and can't wait to come back again one day. The house was so well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There were plenty of towels and bedding, an amazing selection of dishes and equipment in the kitchen, and all the extras (fans, mosquito coils, additional outside shower, ample fresh drinking water, washer and dryer) to make our stay comfortable. The house manager was friendly and very helpful. We all felt so at home!

Well equipped house in private setting.

. We were 3 friends and had a bedroom each. We particularly enjoyed the garden and verandah area. Loved the outdoor shower after we came back from the lagoon. We had a car which was very handy for visiting further away parts of the island but bus stopped close by if needed. Would stay again if/when we return to Raro.
