    We offer a charming cottage with a side covered patio to sit and rest, while enjoying our yard, our waterfall & lots of feathered friends. We've pulled out all the stops to make your stay a memorable one and provide you with all the comforts of home.

    We're less than 5 miles to any & all attractions the City of Oaks has to offer.
    We look forward to hosting you at our Water Feature Cottage.

    Our cottage is one of a kind with the water feature and landscaping. Parking pad at the front door. There are no steps at the entrance door because you are at ground level.
    There is a private back covered patio with seating and a grill.
    We designed this space to be just the right size for comfort and a great place to get away from your daily travels into the city during the day.
    Our goal is to make your stay a memorable one.
    Come and visit and make sure you feel right at home during your stay.
    This is a non-smoking property, if you are a smoker you will need to book with another host. If you have visitors, they must abide by the same rules.

Very Cute and Comfortable

Stayed for 3 nights. The property was very clean and extremely comfortable. DirectTV made for relaxing evenings and the location was very convenient to Raleigh sites. Will definitely stay at this property again.

Amazing stay

Larry was a great host. Communicated very well and helped out however he could. Spot was nice and cozy, perfect for having family into town. Highly recommend staying at this cottage.

Pleasant and Peaceful

A cozy little cottage surrounded by waterfalls, a koi pond and an abundance of birds. The interior of the cottage was filled with all of our needs for a comfortable stay. The hosts are among the nicest people we have ever met.

Convenient Location in Raleigh

My husband recently sold his house in North Raleigh, but he wants to stay in the Duke HeathCare network. We were delighted to find this this fabulous short term rental and hosts! Convenient to downtown and easy interstate access!

Absolutely amazing property

We have stayed at several VRBO’s This is my favorite by far. Location was good, the yard with the pond and flowers were beautiful. But the house itself was amazing. Spotless, well decorated s d had anything you needed. Larry was a great host!

Perfect place while visiting family in Raleigh

Each time we stay at the cottage—and we have done so at least 6 times already—we are so pleased by everything. We say, this is just the perfect place for us to stay while visiting our son. Larry and Sandra don't miss a thing, and provide amenities so anything we need is right there. The greatest joy for me is being able to walk out and enjoy the beautiful garden and waterfalls.

Cozy Cottage

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and were looking for a place to relax before and after the festivities. This was the perfect spot! The cottage has so much personality and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. the homeowner greeted us with a smile and provided all of the amenities we could possibly need. We will definitely be back.

A heavenly place to stay

The cottage is my go-to place to stay on my frequent trips to Raleigh to see my son, and I look forward to arriving every time. After more than a dozen stays at the cottage, it truly feels like my home, and garden!, away from home. Such a pleasure to wander around the lovely plantings around the water features and property. And Larry and Sandra are not only warm and welcoming hosts, they have thought of every little thing a guest might need. This property is highly recommended.

The Water Feature Cottage was perfect for our 5 night stay, just the right size for 2 people, but also comfortable for our son to visit. The cottage was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The "back porch" patio is perfect for enjoying coffee or drinks and the landscaping is beyond beautiful. We really enjoyed watching birds, listening to frogs and discussing plants with Larry. Thank you Larry, Sandra and (of course) Hobbs!
