I stayed here for a school weekend trip, and this was one of the most uncomfortable and unsanitary hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I didn’t feel safe walking from my car to my room at night, and if it hadn’t been a football weekend with Parents’ Week (meaning everything else was booked), I would have left immediately.
The room was filthy — the walls were stained, greasy, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned or painted in years. The microwave was rusted and burnt inside, with scorch marks that made it look unsafe to use. The fridge and surrounding area had visible dirt, sticky residue, and dust buildup. Even the bathroom counter had hair and debris in the corners.
The overall condition of the room showed major neglect — peeling paint, grime buildup, and a lingering odor that made it hard to relax. It’s unacceptable for a hotel to present rooms like this, especially when charging standard weekend rates.
I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others. I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances. Management needs to seriously deep-clean, replace damaged appliances, and improve the overall safety and maintenance of this property.
