Went with a group of guys for a golf trip in the area. The house was perfect, exactly as described. Beautiful, secluded property, house was clean. Highly recommend.

Great unique house, very private. Well stocked kitchen and lots of fun amenities in the house - pool table, game table, fire pit, porches and a great family room with a large TV. This was our second year in a row at this house and we plan on coming back next year!

Our weekend was wonderful! We were in the area for Radford Parent Weekend. The property was perfect for family time. We were still very close to campus but really enjoyed the seclusion and serenity of the house.

We moved my youngest into VT. We loved the property, very peaceful! Played pool, enjoyed all the deer, and sitting around the fire pit! Thank you for allowing us to use your family cabin :). We also enjoyed the photo album of when the cabin was built!

Our stay at the cabin was excellent. We needed a place for a bachelor party weekend for some early 30s guys and this was the perfect spot. The amenities and location of this cabin were perfect. There were loads of niceties that elevate this VRBO option to top tier. If visiting Radford in the future, I would absolutely stay here again, no questions asked.

What a fun place to stay! We loved the privacy of the property, yet it is right next to town and conveniences. The deer and wildlife were fun to watch. We used the pool table downstairs and grilled out on the back porch. After dusk, we often switched to sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows for s'mores. The owners were great at communication and extremely helpful. Will stay again when we have a larger group!

Thank you for a lovely place to stay close to VT with family for daughter’s graduation! The house was perfect and so relaxing! Loved the screen porch and welcoming basket of goodies. Such a thoughtful touch! Beautiful property!

We had the best time. The location is beautiful, the property was well taken care of, the home had everything we needed. The kids in the family were in love with the cozy loft and all the games to play. This listing really was a fantastic find, and communication was amazing. We had 8 friends come stay at the property for a weekend reunion and a round of golf at the River Course. The majority of us graduated from Radford with a VT & JMU grad as well. Perfect cabin in the peaceful woods with all the amenities indoors you would need. Would definitely stay again. The campus sure has changed, but we loved our time here.

What a place! Very remote and private setting yet super convenient to town. The property is beautiful and the house is super functional; the living room/kitchen area is designed perfectly to enjoy time with family and friends. Our gracious host answered our one question quickly and provided all the essentials plus a couple treats for our stay.

This was the perfect escape for 9 old college buddies. The house is very unique and fits perfectly in its setting. It has 2 floors and a loft. A spacious kitchen/living room area, a great game room down stairs, a large screen porch on the front and a great concrete patio in the back with a fire pit. The house was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. Had everything you would need for cooking a great meal. The surrounding landscape was rolling hills, woods and open fields. You really feel that you are out in the wilderness but you are right in town. Nice and private. We plan on coming back next year. Host supplied easy instructions and checkout was simple.

We were blown away by how gorgeous the property is. The land, the wildlife, the amazing house and patio are all incredible and provided a beautiful place to be celebrating many years of friendship with fellow RU grads. The house is unusual and so interesting in design, but just perfectly and beautifully decorated and gives a true sense of being home. The design gave us places to be comfortably all together in one spot, from the kitchen and great room to the awesome basement with pool table, game table and bar. The kitchen left nothing we needed!! We sat around the fire pit for hours one night, it was magical in those surroundings. We all mentioned we’d love to come back with our own families, and will definitely come back the next time we all return together for other RU gatherings. The owners provided such great instructions and area info. Our stay was simply fabulous, and the house and land made it even more special and memorable!

Our extended family has been gathering annually for the better part of 20 years, and the group that gathered this time out agreed that this was one of the best locations that we have ever selected. A spacious yet cozy house, warm hospitality and amazing attention to detail make this a location that we will certainly want to come back to. Thank you SO much!!!

We came to the area for the Purdue-Virginia Tech Football game. The Cabin had a convenient but remote location just up the hill from downtown Radford and 20 minute from the VT campus. It was spotless, unique and loaded with everything you need for your getaway. Deb was very communicative and accommodating. We would definitely return when in the area.
