Located on SIX ACRES near the very top of a mountain.... at the end of a private road... surrounded by National Forest!

This beautiful vacation spot offers long-range and seemingly endless views from two levels of balconies and it borders the National Forest for miles of hiking trails. With abundant wildlife, a million-dollar kitchen, spacious common living areas, a living room, and plenty of sleeping quarters, this vacation destination is sure to please.

Featuring 5 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms, this lovely 2-story vacation home accommodates 12 people comfortably with its 2,800 s.f. of living space with lots of balcony, porch, and open deck space.

There is a new 6-person hot tub outside, overlooking the mountains, that is available for an extra $50 cleaning and usage fee. Please let us know when booking if you would like to use this added amenity.

Located near the historic cities of Clayton, GA and Franklin, NC... this setting is perfect for those seeking hiking, fishing, zip lining, rafting, sightseeing,, or just a great setting for family gatherings or reunions.

With beautiful foliage and colors during the seasons, and mild and pleasant weather for most of the year, this location is ideal for those that desire the mountain top, country living... without the sub-freezing weather and high-altitude challenges.

Nestled at exactly 3,000 ft elevation, and overlooking 2,200 ft valleys, the 800-foot vistas are amazingly beautiful all year round.

Experience the Smokey Mountains as the clouds hover below you, and enjoy the peaceful and quiet solitude of the acreage around you.

We had such an amazing time at the Eagle’s Nest cabin! The cabin was beautiful and stocked really well with anything we might need. In fact, it was probably stocked better than any other place we’ve ever rented! The screened porch was spectacular and had such incredible views! The WiFi was great for those that needed to work and do school. We spent our entire first afternoon sitting outside on the spectacular screened porch! Contact with the owner was fast and easy. Just an overall great experience! We’re thinking about going again next year!

The view was absolutely fabulous! Accommodations were perfect for our group of 10. Very close to Falls, shopping and just a short trip to the Whitewater rafting on the Chatooga river out of South Carolina. We also did some fishing and floated through Helen, Georgia on race.rafts. Beautiful secluded views

We loved the property and its seclusion. More so the adults loved it, the teens were a bit bored being so far from the hustle bustle life. The house was gorgeous with a beautiful kitchen and outdoor seating. The drive up is long but you have to way your desire to be up a mountain or not. The owners were so helpful and replied to any concerns we had very quickly. The guide they leave is super helpful and there are plent6 of supplies. Loved our stay.

A beautiful home with a stunning view!

What a great location, we had a great time during our family gathering. There was plenty of parking space for our three vehicles and the cabin had everything we needed, the grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The cabin is close to the parks, wineries' and other area attractions and the town of Clayton. It was nice to sit under the stars around the firepit and enjoy the views. We had such an amazing trip filled with wonderful memories, and hope to return.

Spacious Kitchen/Dining and decks with a Beautiful View!

This fantastic property allowed us to host a flawless get-together with our adult children and their spouses. There was plenty of room for family meals and quiet spaces that allowed a bit of privacy/downtime for couples in between events. The kitchen was massive and so well thought out that two cooks could prepare their entire menu without bumping into one another. The owners put their hearts and hosting experience into planning this property. Perfection!

Gorgeous view, lots of room inside and out

Large beautiful open kitchen/dining area. Our family used the hot tub and fire pit a lot. Plenty of room outside for parking and walking the dogs. Kitchen and rest of home furnished with many essentials. We all loved it!

Papa’s 70th

We came from South GA, Atlanta and Charleston SC to celebrate Papa’s 70th Birthday. He absolutely loved the view and all he wanted was to have a fire and look at the amazing view. The 4 kids ages 9,10, 12 and 12 loved the games and bunk room. There was plenty of kitchen space for all the cooks too! We had fun making family memories!!

Spacious home with amazing views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagle’s Nest. The house is very spacious and the double balconies provide for spectacular views. The hot tub was perfect for the Fall weather. The hosts were responsive and were very accommodating with our requests. Will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful

Very safe, relaxing, peaceful and beautiful. Waking up the first morning and we were above the clouds words cant describe the beauty. I would highly recommend Eagles nest. We will book Eagle nest again.

Short Getaway

Mountain Top Retreat was a beautiful place to stay. We had a wonderful time with our children and their spouses. House was clean, up to date and lots of space. We really enjoyed playing games, eating meals and just relaxing on the screened in porch. The view was amazing!
