Tranquility on the Trent

With a lakefront feel, this 3 bed/ 2 story cottage overlooks a beautiful stretch of deep, wide river that is very peaceful. A large west facing deck and sun room overlook the water showcasing amazing sunsets. There is a large dock to enjoy swimming and fishing. The yard is spacious for playing games with a good mix of sun/shade exposure. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with an amazing view, look no further!
The space
Open concept cottage with a large sunroom. Three bedrooms and additional space for blow up mattresses provide lots of sleeping space.

There are tons of games to keep your family busy on a rainy day. Board games and both a PS4 and Wii consol, plus plenty of DVDs. The cottage is also equipt with satalite TV.

The cottage is on a river, but don't let that deter you. this area of the river is more open and quiet and is deeper, making it feel more like a quaint lake.

Other things to note
This is a seasonal cottage road. Therefore it is not maintained by the City. The incoming hill is steady and steep. Although it is not impossible to visit with a car, it is more difficult to climb the hill in one. The road is used by cars, vans, etc., we just like to give our guests the advance notice so there are no surprises. We do ourselves bring our car in regularly.

Parking for four vehicles. Anything over four can be accommodated by parking at the top of the private road.

There is a public boat launch within 20 minutes of the cottage if you would like to bring a boat. Ask for details and directions upon booking if interested in this option. Unfortunately boat rentals in the area are non-existent at this time.
