"We had a tremendous stay at the Storytellers Villas. We cannot recommend this location highly enough. We stayed in the two bedroom room, and it was the perfect amount of space; our nine year old was thrilled to have her own room and bathroom. We had the pleasure of being served by Bowani who is not only the housekeeper, but also the receptionist, and the server at breakfast. Obrigada, Bowani! You are a gem. They are so attentive, so accommodating and excellent at keeping you well informed of what spots to visit, eat at, etc. We were on our honeymoon here and the staff had prepared such thoughtful champagne, port wine already decanted (tasted at least 10 years), fresh fruit, and a filled nespresso machine. Enjoyed cup of tea on the upper terrace looking onto the patio. Staff very informative. Only thing missing is a small refrigerator in the room. Good restaurants nearby. Little fruit stand/convenience store across street. Pingo Doce grocery storea bit of a hike but worth it."
