Vista Oceana is located in an animal corridor close to Manuel Antonio National Park and the lush tropical jungle, frequently visited by all 3 species of monkeys, Capuchin, Mono Titi, and Howler, sloths, agoutis, flocks of toucans, McCaw’s, pelicans, parrots, and many spectacular lizards and iguanas may be seen about the villa.
Hundreds of species of birds have been spotted from balconies in this area and if you are very fortunate you may even spot a mother whale and her calf only a few hundred yards off of the beach. We are constantly adding new tropical flowers to the property and our butterfly garden.
WALK TO THE BEACH Vista Oceana is the closest luxury Villa to the MA National Park and the main beach known as Playa Espadilla. Conveniently located on a newly paved street just 80 yards from Manuel Antonio Road, the beach is just a 10-minute walk down Manuel Antonio Road, you also can wave down a taxi or catch the bus.
EASY STREET LEVEL WITH NEWLY PAVED ROAD
The owner designed the villa as 3 structures all interconnected behind privacy walls and courtyard enclosures. To further ensure that each guest had their privacy, he designed all 7 bedrooms with their own bathroom. As you enter into the enclosed courtyard you will find the Fountain en suite on your right. This is a very spacious suite with a king-size bed and a queen pullout sofa and kitchenette counter. While this suite does not afford an ocean view it does offer a very relaxing jungle view.
From the courtyard, you will also enter into the Main Villa, the main floor offers one King size en suite, along with the main living area, main kitchen, dining area, and poolside retreat. You will find the Master king en suite, and 2 king en suites on the 2nd floor, as well as a queen Murphy bed. All suites have private balconies and incredible ocean views.
Moving up to our 3rd level you will find the awe-inspiring covered terrace with casual seating, two hammocks, and the best views of Manuel Antonio Bay. Large enough for your wedding ceremonies and yoga retreats, while listening to the ocean waves, and watching the beachgoers below!
Leaving the great room, you step out to our pool area, we have a large covered patio, sun deck, double-sided infinity edge pool with swim-up bar, and a toddler area 12" deep and 6 feet square, that seems to melt into the Pacific. We also have the sunken bar and bar-b-q pit, refrigerator, and sink, both of which are under a thatched palm roof.
As you leave the pool area under the thatched overhead you enter the upper floor of our 2-story guest house, this floor contains the kitchenette, full bath, and queen bedroom with a private balcony with ocean views. The lower suite has a full bath, and queen bed with a private balcony with ocean views as well.
The entire villa is furnished with hand-crafted furniture created by Costa Rican artisans and highlighted with original Costa Rican art.
ABOUT THE CHEF, he charges labor plus the cost of food and the prices are per group: $70 labor for breakfast, $130 labor for either lunch or dinner, $170 labor for a package of breakfast and lunch or dinner, and $240 labor for all three meals… The chef does the shopping, prep, cooking, and cleanup, and all meals are served buffet style… The extra cost of food depends on what food items you select from the menu... Individual portions can be prepared separately for special diet restrictions.
