"When we arrived, the staff attended to us very quickly and efficiently and were very welcoming. The hotel is very clean, breakfast is delicious and all the hotel and spa staff were pleasant. The room i believe got upgraded from the one we booked previously and overall would recommend the place so already booked the next trip to go back!!!"

"All was great, but I must say that the breakfast was not made that good. But it was a nice stay, and I would probably go here again. The dinner was OK, I had fish and chips. The fish was a bit overcooked, and the chips were good on the outside but dry on the inside. With slightly better food, this would be 5 stars for the price"

"The room was comfortable, the pool and facilities were excellent, and everything was spotless."

"Breakfast was excellent, very comfortable bed, pool facilities were nice, quiet and clean, the shower in the room fluctuated in temperature and there were limited vegan options at the resturant (would love to see simple tomato pasta on the menu) but otherwise an excellent stay"

"Really nice place and would stay again but I would probably remember to book a room with a bigger bed 😂. We didn’t do the Spa but maybe next time. The restaurant was lovely and some amazing views overlooking the Peak District. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"I liked this hotel very much. It was warm and welcoming and the staff were friendly and very helpful if you needed anything. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and cooked to perfection. The bar meals were very good to and all reasonably priced. I would most definitely stay here again as it felt like one big happy and homely place to stay. Would recommend it to all friends and family. "

"This was my fifth stay at the Palace Hotel, I also go to Buxton Opera House to see a show. We booked dinner and breakfast at the hotel.Check in was great, very pleasant receptionist.Our evening meal last night was lovely, great service from a pleasant waitress and the meal was very tasty! I had a good night's sleep in room 301,it has has a new bathroom suite with a lovely shower, I had no noise disturbances from other guests going into their rooms. Self service breakfast was great! "We stayed for 2 nights as it was close to Alton Towers. Hotel itself was quite dated and the bedside tables were ancient and well used but the hotel was really clean and the staff and service was fantastic, I would definitely stay here again x"

"The property is situated in a beautiful location handy for Bakewell and Buxton. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy although the pillows were not great. There was lots of storage for our things. The bathroom was also a good size but I was disappointed to find a couple of long black hairs on the floor! The staff were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast was plentiful and we also are there in the evening whi h was tasty and good value for money. There is plenty of parking space."
