"The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive."

"We spent 2 weeks in September, my husband and I and a further guest, who stayed for 10 days. We were very satisfied with the apartment, which was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely view of the countryside from the lounge. Buxton was in walking distance (15 minutes). The apartment was nice and warm and the kitchen was well stocked, which included a generous deep freeze compartment. What we also liked was the fact that there was a space to park the car off road. "Beautiful, cosy two bed cottage, there was a double room and a room with bunk beds (plus a sofa bed we didn't use). Beds were comfortable, decor was nice, the area is very quiet and was easy to find. We had everything we needed, the ground coffee and milk sachets was a great touch. "Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi.
Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation."

"Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best."
