"The staff is incredibly friendly. The WiFi and aircon are strong, the beds are super comfy and the place was spotless. It is close enough (2 doors down) from the famous Easy Tiger, but far enough (30 meters) away that your room doesn’t shake from their party. "Lake House was the perfect place for us to relax and explore the surrounding sights in Phong Nha. We especially enjoyed the beautiful scenery, kayaking on the lake, and renting bicycles to explore the local area. The staff were all really friendly and helpful with booking tours and transport, and we felt very at home during our stay here!"

"Excellent hotel. Family run. Lovely family. Looked after the guests. Cooked dinner for us too. Were there when even we asked for anything, help, food, directions. Ching the daughter is very efficient. Mother excellent cook. Pool is very big and surrounded by mountain was the real good thing. But to caves as well as to Hue was booked by them without any extra charge (unlike other hotels)."

"The staff is friendly/family owned. Breakfast included in the price, secured my motorcycle, offered me tea, provided water in the room, and located along the main strip in Phong Nha, so walkable to the tourist center, restaurants, and other services. Room was clean. Karaoke could be heard in the late evening coming from outside the hotel area if you are the type to go to bed early. Very pleasant stay and recommend if you are traveling to Phong Nha."

"Our room was clean and spacious although we would have preferred 1 queen bed. We like that they provided rubber slippers instead of the cloth ones and their wifi has a fast connection. They also assisted us for our luggages from when we arrived until checking out.The free buffet breakfast was really nice, there were many Vietnamese dish selections so we were excited to try them all and they taste very good!"

"Beautiful family farm next to a small lake. The owners were friendly and helped us with recommendations for where to go in the area and rented us a motorbike. Food at the restaurant was good and the evening vibes were lovely. Overall an excellent place to stay!"
