"This could be a nice quiet motel if they cleaned it up,having mouse traps and ant traps in the room along with no garbage can ,sheets for curtains and no drinking cups didn’t sit well. The bed had 2 flat pillows and had to drive out for coffee. The only nice thing was the bed was clean at least."

"I wish I’d stayed for a week so I could’ve hiked and swam in the lake. Instead, I was there for a weekend so we took advantage of the bar and the silence of the woods by simply walking through. The staff we met were wonderful: Sean at check-in is gregarious and kind; Beth in the bar is efficient and friendly, as were both bartenders named Mike."

"I expected the quality to be somewhat low, but what concerned me most was the lack of safety. When we arrived at the parking lot, there were three men smoking marijuana, and they even approached us offering food and trying to talk to us. I don’t understand why the hotel does not manage people gathering in the parking area and allows guests to be affected like this. It felt very unsafe, and I could not even leave the room. I was also worried that our car might be stolen, so I could not sleep...

"I’ve stayed at other La Quinta properties and found this one among the best. The check in was quick and easy, the room extremely clean (got one of the newly refreshed rooms) and the pool area was very nice with separate sitting areas. Surprisingly, the coffee station was very clean with a number of sweetening choices and the coffee itself was excellent. Our breakfast was also very satisfying with the eggs freshly made and the make your own waffles delicious. The check out was simple and fast,...

"The hotel is extremely old-fashioned and it smells that way. I had problems rating this because it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Neither was the service or the amenities. It is a little ran down but it's a place to lay your head. The shower pressure was amazing. The rest was very dated then there was a crucifix tucked in to the frame of the bathroom doorway which added creepy vibes."
