"We had a family gathering and had 8 of us in 4 rooms. I didn't know what to expect when I booked other than knowing one of my brothers opted not to stay there. He had previously stayed there and this trip he booked rooms at the Best Western Plus across the street with his family of 8 and told me it was much better than The Ruby. When we arrived, I was disappointed with the lack of overhead lighting in the room and the size and dinginess of the room. Also the bath towels were very small like half...

"There were 2 big issues with our stay. One of which was the smell of the room. They use some kind of mint cleaner but it just masked the musty smell. It was a dog room but in all of our other stays with our dogs we haven’t experienced that. The room wasn’t technically dirty but the smell and condition of the room like the bathroom doorknob about to fall off made the cleanliness highly questionable. Second was the issue with our check in. We are on a cross country move and driving long hours...

"We never saw or talked to anyone at the property from the time we checked-in until we checked out. They leave a sign with your name on it and instructions on what to do. A lot of stairs and hallways made hauling large luggage awkward. They ask you to take your shoes off on entry. Carrying shoes and hauling luggage was even more awkward. It is easy to slip on the stairs in stocking feet. If you don’t give 48 hours notice you cannot have breakfast. For a boutique hotel they could over some sort...

"Very helpful staff, clean comfortable room. Except, at 2 am people in room above took shower and the noise was atrocious!! Could not hear anything in side walls but ceiling was not soundproof and plumbing was very loud. Other than that, stay was great!"

"Good location to walk to grocery or downtown area...decent breakfast items available...I've stayed there many times however it would be super if the pool and hot tub were filled and ready to use!"

"Very nice place. Decor was tasteful. Room was clean and large. Staff was helpful and check-in was fast. The only negative was the HVAC unit fan was loud and the whole unit rattled while the compressor was on. Other than that, it was a great place to stay."
