The Gin Trap is a 1960s Kiwi Bach, but with the mod cons of unlimited wi-fi, smart TV and heatpump. You don't get much closer than this to the beach, sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms, making this an ideal getaway spot for the family holiday or couples looking for an escape. Perfectly situated on the beachfront, with direct beach access off the lawn to the ocean for swims and long days spent on the sand. Wash off the days sand in the hot outdoor shower. Dinners will be a breeze, with the well equippt kitchen and BBQ available. This is a bach with simple furnishings, a large front deck, along with a spacious section. For those cooler nights, the heatpump will keep you cosy while watching a movie on the Smart TV with Freeview, Netflix or maybe enjoy a game night with one of the many board games on offer. The home is split level - with the Kitchen, Dining, Living, along with Bedroom 2 and 3 on the first level. Both Bedrooms have Queen size beds with drawers underneath for extra storage. The Master bedroom offering a King Size Bed with wardrobe, along with the bathroom on the upper level NB: reached by a small staircase of 5 stairs.
Cleaning fee is $150 which includes all linen, along with Beach Towels.
Directly across the road is our local cafe "Montys" where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or a coffee.
This home is not only a great base for the beach, but also for exploring near by. With just a 15min drive to Te Puke, 30mins to Mt Maunganui and Tauranga (via toll road) or 40mins to Rotorua and Whakatane. The BP station to refuel your boat is only 5 mins down the road.
