One of the best locations in Old Town.  If you are looking for a memorable experience, look no further.  

Tropical Hideaway has everything you can imagine and more.  Located in the heart of Old Town (Zona Romantica), Tropical Hideaway is 1 block away from Los Muertos beach and just steps away from the best restaurants and shops Puerto Vallarta has to offer.



The Space:

This amazing PV Getaways vacation home has the feeling of both old world Mexican charm and new world tropical blend.   Throughout Tropical Hideaway, you will enjoy the collection of artwork which flows out to the outdoor terrace. 



Tropical Hideaway is a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom condo with air conditioners throughout.  The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare the most incredible sunset dinners for you and your guests.  While enjoying your meal, you will be able to take in the spectacular Puerto Vallarta sunsets at the roof top pool area.

Great experience, nice clean stay, fast response from contact person.Pros: #5 -Spacious 2 bed/2 bath, lovely decor.Kitchen adequately equipped (no dishwasher). Washer/dryer worked great, appreciated the beach towels, beds and bedding comfortable, Tvs and a/c in living room and both bedrooms, appreciated the extra hangers too. Good location for restaurants/bars/beaches/shopping. It's bordering Zona Romantica and Amapas. Right across from the Hotel Tropicana entrance. Very quiet neighborhood. During our 2 week stay we only heard people above us during one night fairly late but that only lasted a couple of hours. Pool is very nice, very clean. There were 4 lounge chairs plus a table with 4 chairs. We were the only 2 people during our entire stay that used the pool, so it felt like a private pool for us. Wifi worked great after we were able to get the password situation resolved. Our contact sent someone over right away after we discovered there was a sign in problem. Cons: there is no elevator. Our place was 2-1/2 flights. Luckily there are hand rails on each stairway...all the way to the rooftop pool. The balcony off of the living room isn't very large. There is a bar type table with barstool chairs. The views are mostly of other condos/buildings. We never used the small porch off of the bedroom. This is a great place for couples/solos/families. We met the proprietor the day before we left and he and his wife are super friendly. We would definitely stay again!!

Great location with very nice and comfortable condo. Had a couple of isaues with a ceiling fan and A/C unit but they very reaponsive and got them fixed the next day. Great little mercado half a block away that has everything you need.

New Area Experience

As my old decorator said “ nothing is perfect”. Most listings are photo shopped as this is, but for the most part is accurately shown. The main thing is that the balconies are not really useable and the bedroom ones look into a wall. The living room one needs a good scrubbing to make it useable. The beds are very comfortable as soft firm. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need. You need to be aware there are 51 steps over 5 landings to the unit and 40 more to the rooftop dipping pool.The area is good and 2 blocks from the beach. There is a nice little grocery store half a block away for some items but you need to go to Mercado Olliinem for larger selections.Left around the corner(1 block) is a great little hole in the wall called The Porch for breakfast/ lunch (closes 2pm). Not far away is a place for lighter fare called Barra Light for fresh fare. Be aware also that many places are cash only and generally portions everywhere are sizable. The book in the unit mentions several places to go to.

The location can’t be beat, walking distance to everything and you miss the hills! Nice rooftop pool. Good AC. Very comfortable unit.

Great location. Close to the beach. 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit though. Just be mindful of that. Bed was comfy. Staff was awesome.

Another Great Stay at Almendro

The condo is very spacious, bright and airy. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Wonderful cross breezes so never used the air conditioner. Be aware there is no elevator in this building. I have stayed in the building several times so not an issue for me. But if there are mobility issues for prospective renters, this may not be the best choice for you.

Secluded hideaway in the Romantic Zone

My friends and I were looking to stay near the beach but have a restful stay. This unit is a block to the beach, around to corner from an amazing deli and plenty of restaurants. The accommodations were pleasant- two bedrooms and three bathrooms with two balconies. Roof top dipping pool. There is not a property manager on site but the building was accessible only by key. All in all an amazing jewel close in.
