"Fabulous is the word for this hotel + restaurant + bar! Extremely accommodating as well as making me feel as if I were at a boutique hotel. Ate dinner on the first night and was sent to the moon over the incredibly delicious meal. Bar was fantastic and the bartender had some azaing creations. They all helped me with any questions since this was my first trip to Kentucky."

Breakfasts were for a change very good with decent sausages, decent patties and great crispy bacon. "The property was beautiful and relaxing, with the private lake, manicured grounds and surrounded by majestic horses. The hosts were very welcoming. We even had an impromptu game of Cash Cab at breakfast since everyone says My Husband looks like the Cash Cab Host. It was a fun and personalized way to end our visit there! "

"Aesthetically, it had a wonderful old world feel. You can tell they are still working on getting the hotel to where they want it but the details in place already are great. I loved the ipads coupled with the rotary phone in the room. The steakhouse downstairs while closed the 2 days we were there was closed really made me want to eats there. (Silk’s) The attention to detail is really strong draw for this hotel. I would definitely book here again. Comfortable bed, clean, nice bathroom linens...
