Beautiful house and location. Easily walkable to shopping and restaurants at princeville center. Great communication. Would definitely stay there again. The only downside is that the listing says you can walk 15 min to the beach - which as far as we could tell is not accurate - all beaches required a drive. It would help with planning to know all beaches require a car. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The house worked out great for our family reunion of 9 people. There was plenty of room and we cooked several times as restaurants nearby are few and difficult with 9 people. The pool and hot tub were a big hit, and we were in them every day and they were wonderful. There is no rail to enter or get out on either so we had to have help for our older guests and the surface is slippery. The area is beautiful, close enough to walk to the stores, and great for walks in the neighborhood. We toured the island and enjoyed it all and it was wonderful to come home to a welcoming house and pool.The managers were easy to reach and helpful with a WiFi issue. I would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Plenty of space for our three generation family. Kitchen was stocked! Anything you would need to cook with, along with spices. Supplied soap and shampoo were lovely. Bedrooms are large and comfy. The pool and hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring the island, and we loved the games and puzzles for after dinner fun. Double set of washers and dryers is a definite plus, and all the beach chairs, coolers and toys were much appreciated!

Chavez Princeville

We had 7 family members vacationing in Kauai and we chose this rental because of the location, accommodations, and it's proximity to beaches. We totally enjoyed the stay at this rental and would recommend this spot to all.

The house is great for a large family! It is conveniently located within walking distance to the marketplace. The hosts were very attentive and responded to us within minutes when we had questions. We really enjoyed the house, unfortunately the pool was not heated and the weather was on the colder side during our two week stay so the pool went mainly unused. If you are looking for a large house in proximity to beaches and activities this house fits the bill.

Absolutely Magical!!

I stayed here with 12 members for my family ages 6months to 74 and we had the absolute best time! The house is beautiful, clean, and stocked with everything you need to cook meals. Having a pool was great to come home to after all our many excursions and the location was close to stores, shops, restaurants and the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Amazing house. We had a very large group and this house had plenty of room. The beds were great. Tons of beautiful pieces in the house. If you're going to Kauai, this is the place to stay!

Magical

Property location was perfect! Walking distance to shopping, groceries and short drive to Hanalei and the neighborhood peaceful and gorgeous. Night market on Sunday was fun. The property itself was perfect for a family and there were abundant beach towels and chairs so didn’t need to rent. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to prepare family dinners. Having a pool to ourselves was a luxury Communication with property management was great

Fully met our needs with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Main room and kitchen provided plenty of room to cook play games and hang out. Kitchen had everything we needed!

Fantastic family time!

Perfect house for the 10 of us! Loved the large table for meals and games- the home is beautifully furnished and beds were super comfy! Lots of extras- everything for a beach day- all kitchen equipment needed was provided- the grocery store was just a few minutes walk. We loved the neighborhood and will for sure be back. The only drawback was how cold the pool and hot tub were- we were not used to that. But overall had a fabulous week!

Wonderful 70th birthday celebration!

Nalani Palms was the perfect house for our family of 10…ages 18 months to 70 years young. The home was beautifully appointed with more than adequate space for our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and satisfied the cooks in our group. The pool area was wonderful and greatly enjoyed by all! The welcome basket of local fruits and treats was much appreciated. The location in Princeville was perfect….a lovely neighbourhood, close to many beautiful beaches and walking distance to decent shopping. We highly recommend this property, and the attentiveness of the management company.

The house and property were great. There was enough space for 10 of us. The kids loved the pool. The only drawback was the house had no AC and it was very humid. We would be back if the house had AC. But if you can live with humidity this is the place for you. Fully equipped, paddle boards & sand toys. Plenty of beach chairs & umbrellas, even a cooler. Plenty of towels! And 2 refrigerators!! And very close to shops & market. A short drive to beautiful beaches. It was a great vacation.

kauai trip 2024

Beautiful home with above and beyond amenities...like keurig AND drip, tea warmer, ceiling fans in every room as well as portable fans. Two washer dryer units... and more. The house was spotless, well maintained. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet (except for the roosters crowing every morning, (which we loved)! A great advantage was that we were within walking distance of a grocery store, which we took advantage of numerous times. We would definitely use this house again.

North Side Excellence

Great location, house was clean with lots of amenities. Very comfortable for a family of 10. No yard but we didn’t need a yard. Appreciated the beach chairs. Left for boogie boards. No air conditioning did not bother us. Hot tub was perfect. Our only complaint was the pool was cold. Hardly used at all because it was too cold to stay in. Although, It’s close to many beaches to snorkel and boogie board. Thank you for a great Kauai vacation!

Great Location

The home has a wonderful pool and while it isn't heated, the Kauai weather always keeps it warm enough. The layout of the house was fabulous for a family of 10. The kitchen has everything needed. It was wonderful to have coffee waiting for us. It was also fun to have pool and beach toys as well as beach towels. We did have a couple of issues. Sand flees were prevalent and the sheets and comforter cover in one bedroom were not clean upon arrival.

Family Holiday Vacation

The property is a great place for a large group to have plenty of space to spread out and engage in various activities. It is stocked with just about every kitchen appliance and utensils one might need. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, exercise studios was a plus. The staff was quite responsive to any concerns that came up. I would suggest trying out the heater for the jacuzzi as soon as you can, to make sure it is in working order from the beginning of your stay. The driveway is difficult to negotiate, however with practice & patience we got the hang of it. All 8 family members had a wonderful experience staying in this home.

Great Stay

We had an amazing time in Princeville. We were there for a 70th Birthday and had ages ranging from 1 year to 70 years. The house is great and has just about everything you need for a wonderful Hawaii vacation. There is NO Air Conditioning in this house. If you are traveling with little kids who have specific needs (like ours sleep in "slumber pods" that get hot) then you need AC. If you are willing to leave all the windows and doors open at night, then the trade winds are enough to cool you down. Other then the AC "issue" this is a wonderful place, close to all the excitement and FUN FUN FUN for the whole family. oh, the pool i s not heated, but it was not needed during our stay as it remained around 78degrees or about the same as the ocean... so it felt.
