"The toilet was leaking, the skirting boards in the bathroom looked in need of some paint, the mattress/quilt/pillows were all badly stained"

"Checked in and advised last orders for food in the bar was 19:00 so went down at 18:45 ordered a drink and then got totally ignored by the 2 members of staff for about 10 minutes and was then advised that they would not be able to serve any further food so ended having to go to a local pub. In the room the central light fitting over the bed was that low that the top of the lampshades was below eye level, it was that low that if you sat on the bed you could not see the TV. "Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were welcoming and professional. The room and bathroom was spacious, clean and well set out. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. I will definitely stay again when in the area!"

"We stayed in an upgraded room which was fantastic except the shower pressure was diabolical. Breakfast was amazing, bed was really comfortable, staff were wonderful. We stayed in a non upgraded room a day before this stay and the shower was amazing but the room was really tired. Again the bed was super comfy and brekkie wonderful. "
