This unique place has a style all its own. Enjoy an amazing view experience (including stunning sunsets, sunrises, city lights, San Francisco peaks, Mingus Mountain & a slither of Watson Lake when full) from the property.

While you stay at Prickly Pear you will enjoy the uniqueness of the cozy studio where you have all the amenities in the comfortable well-designed space. Views from the property are spectacular: You will see panoramic views of the S.F. Peaks, Mingus Mountain, Willow Lake, the Dells! The open floor plan offers a bedroom, living area, kitchenette, and dining area with electric fireplace and Smart TV.
You have a French door with access to the front of the studio where you can sit and enjoy the sunsets. The sliding door leads out to the back of the property

The kitchenette has a toaster, fridge, freezer, and 2 coffee making options for our coffee connoisseurs. There’s a cute indoor dining table for two. Cozy up to the electric fireplace on the chilly days and evenings. The comfortable queen bed with feather duvet is positioned for you to enjoy the fire and tv. Or lounge on the couch for the same experience. If you're fortunate to be an early riser you will love the morning sky, step out to the back patio and enjoy the sunrise. The studio is positioned to enjoy both sunsets from front patio and sunrises from back patio.

Your bathroom is UNIQUE as it was built into the rocks. Step free European shower room with rain shower, toilet, sink vanity, built in Bluetooth speaker, mood lighting, motion sensor lighting, heater, and clothes storage. There is an outdoor dining table on the property for you to use if you feel like eating outside. Come enjoy and have fun in Prescott.

You are welcome to meander around the property on the walking paths around the little seasonal pond and other areas. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy the stunning views, the beautiful bird sculpture, and listen to the wildlife making their music.

***We allow for 2 domestic pet. We charge a $40 per night per pet fee. Please let us know ahead of time if you're going to be bringing a pet.
***We only allow for 2 adult guests
Our Southwest studio is 3.1 miles from Prescott's d/town. We are located in the hills dotted w/ custom homes.

Our stay was very disappointing. When we arrived, the condo was not properly cleaned — there were feathers under the bed and in multiple areas, patches of dirt on the floors, and the duvet smelled old and musty. There were also bugs inside the hot pot that I had to wash out before using. The small heater provided did not keep the condo warm enough, which made the stay uncomfortable. What made things even worse was being falsely accused afterward of damaging the duvet and comforter, even though the feathers were clearly already present when we arrived, our dog was never on the duvet and we recorded video at checkout showing no visible damage. Instead of acknowledging the condition of the unit, we were unfairly blamed. The combination of poor cleanliness, inadequate heating, and false accusations turned what should have been a relaxing visit into a frustrating and stressful experience.

OVERALL 2.5 STARS - Disappointing Experience with Great Potential! We stayed at this VRBO in Prescott, AZ, drawn by its stunning mountainous location and natural rocky surroundings, which were truly beautiful. However, our experience was marred by several issues that need addressing. Arriving at night was incredibly challenging due to the complete lack of exterior lighting or signage. The listed address led us to the owner’s steep driveway with no indication of the rental’s entrance. We messaged the owner for help but received no response until the next day. Frustrated and ready to find a hotel, we luckily stumbled upon the correct entrance while attempting to leave. Clear signage and lighting are desperately needed to avoid this confusion. The interior left much to be desired. The room felt dated and in need of a deep cleaning. The bed was uncomfortably small for my husband (5’8”) and me (5 feet tall and 105 lbs), and its rock-hard mattress made for a restless stay. We felt it was inadequate even for average-sized guests. While the location is breathtaking, the lack of communication, poor accessibility, and subpar accommodations made this stay disappointing. I hope the owners address these issues, as the property has great potential.

Clean, quiet, and cozy, perfect for solo travelers or a couple. Had everything I needed, and then some. Eclectic and creative decor, yet practical at the same time, like a boutique feel. Owners were quick to respond, and extremely kind in accommodating my request for a modified arrival, (which I didn’t wind up needing, but it was relief to have that ability. I came when it was dark, so, bring a flashlight or use your phone to navigate, it was blissfully starry and welcoming with patio lights warming up the front patio area, perfect for sitting out and gazing. Mostly, I felt safe, and A/C or fan was an option, which was great. Slept well with crispy sheets and quality mattress. Would stay here again if I’m in the area. Forget the hotel, this place is way cooler!

Amazing rock garden patio with comfortable chairs for mountain top views, hummingbirds, and metal art. Bravo! I was also very impressed with the blue light night light over the toilet and shower area. Linens were very clean and smelled wonderful. The /-36" high mattress was difficult to get in and out of and we could not find a stable safe step stool. There were 4-5 forks, but only one spoon that I could find. Check in and out process was very good. Thank you!

We really enjoyed are stay here. It was very clean and cozy, the sunsets,stars and the views of the moon are just amazing in this very quiet location. I saw so many hummingbirds just sitting outside with the beautiful landscape.

Awesome ,Location was perfect, close to restaurants shopping, and activities. The property was in a quiet neighborhood with views in all directions, 2 furnished patio areas to enjoy the outdoor scenery and sun. Beautifully furnished and cozy.

Beautiful area, great neighborhood in the hillside. Kelley made us feel very welcome in this artistically curated compound. We loved it and were very comfortable. Neighbors are close but the accommodations are private and cosy. Hosts were terrific and available short notice for communication. Would love to stay again soon!

Great Stay!

We were only in Prescott for one night and it worked perfectly for us. The hosts provided everything for us in the unit that we needed. The unit was decorated nicely, it was comfortable with little items that really made it unique. Close to everything and within a quiet and safe neighborhood. The hosts were fast in their responses. Loved the blue tooth light/speaker in the bathroom.
