"I booked a room with two queen beds, but surprisingly they looked like double beds. I know the difference since my teens have double beds. When I asked the attendant about the room beds he replied with a ‘oh well, that’s a queen bed,’ I think a bit of sympathy and understanding would have helped understand that ‘maybe’ the hotels view of a queen bed is different from the rest of us. "BarDew Valley Inn and its owner, Perry, were amazing!! The suite decor was fun (ours was a French Chateau), and the common areas beautiful and comfortable. Perry offers a movie room with a huge selection of DVDs, as well as satellite TV in both the common area and each suite. And his breakfast each morning was delicious! We would definitely stay again (and maybe try a different suite!) when we are in that area again."

The air conditioning worked well but it was not on when we went in the room so we had to wait a little while for it to cool down. "The only thing good about the stay at this hotel was the checkin was simple the rooms were dirty the toilets were dirty the showers didn't work properly the cabinets were broken the countertop was broken the sink had Brown water in it. The mattresses on the beds were at least 15 to 20 years old very uncomfortable the pillows are decent. The bedding was very outdated air conditioner didn't blow cold only semi-cold."
