Sunken Lake Cottage, w/ 2 Kayaks, Paddle Boat and Canoe

Complete renovation in 2019, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 10 people in beds with 2 more in pull out couch. Included with the rental are 2 kayak's, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat for you to enjoy on the lake. Covered outdoor living area with furniture and gas grill to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. All new appliances in the kitchen with a great view of the lake. Sunken Lake is a no wake lake, so you can enjoy the quite. Property is also available for ice fishing in the winter on Sunken Lake.

This is a nicely updated, well appointed cottage. Sparkling clean. Excellent communication with the host. We very much enjoyed the peace and quiet on this low- wake lake. The beauty of the natural area across the lake and wildlife viewing was enjoyable. The furnished patio was the 'chef's kiss'. As we often do, we brought bottled water for cooking and drinking. There was wi-fi access. Lots of interesting Great Lakes history and family friendly activities within a short drive.

Very relaxing and immaculately clean

My family, along with our golden retrievers enjoyed our stay at the Sunken Lake cottage. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and you can see the lake from the kitchen, living room and one of the bedrooms. It is immaculately clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The Internet works great. We had a colleague who had to take a few meetings and she had no issues. There is a beautiful outdoor patio, barbecue grill, a nice fire pit stocked with wood, a paddle boat, canoe and plenty of kayaks to use. The owner and property manager promptly answered any questions we had.It was peaceful and very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

A very quiet and relaxing stay! The house was well supplied and had a beautiful setting. Every morning you can look out the kitchen window and see deer across the lake. We seen a couple eagles. The location was great! I will definitely be stay again!!

Ideal fishing conditions

We were landing the fish, the first 2 days we were there. The weather was up and down for us. Still had a fantastic time. Went and checked out the cracks in the earth, that was a site to see. Overall was an amazing trip. We will look to book again in the future.

Fathers Day Getaway

We had a great stay at this cabin! It was very clean and the property was beautiful. Our family caught lots of fish and enjoyed the paddle boat, canoe and kayaks. We traveled into town and visited the Amish bakery which was absolutely delicious. Terry greeted us upon arrival and was very informative about the area and the cabin. It had all the basic necessities plus a little more. We are looking forward to visiting this place again.

Amazing place to stay, house is beautiful, clean, well stocked and spacious.Outstanding covered porch! I mean huge outdoor space with grill, table seating for 8 and 2 lounge chairs and a couch, all covered so you dont have to head indoors if it rains. Great water toys and a really nice dock. Right on the water to enjoy all the scenery. Peaceful and relaxing. 10/10 for sure!!

Sunken Lake 2024

Beautiful and peaceful, house was very clean, like new! Nice size bedrooms and bathrooms, love the laundry room. The covered patio was amazing, lots of spacious seating, large grill, and very comfortable. The view was so beautiful, to watch eagles and deer and fish jump all day was so peaceful. Fishing is awesome, paddle boat, kayaks and canoe were used ALOT! Dock is great, the water is so clear. Over-all a perfect stay. Will be back! Thank you for everything!

Lovely place at the lake

Loved our relaxing time at the cottage just steps away from the lake. It was great to take the boats out to the lake and to gaze at the stars from the deck. With no wifi this is a grrat place for complete relaxation.

Very nice cottage on a quiet, laid-back lake. I really liked the gas grill. Coffee maker in the place was the slowest on the planet, should be replaced. Had my 1 year old granddaughter with me and she crawls a lot. Floor was dirty when we got there. Would have mopped it but no mop. Otherwise great place

Above and beyond!

This stay exceeded my expectations. The house was beautiful, plenty of space. You don’t need anything! I was amazed with all the little details of supplies that were available. Our trip was quite rainy but with the covered patio it made it quite enjoyable. Kayaks, canoe, paddleboat and cornhole game in the garage and a fire pit (they even had a wood shack full of firewood) gave us much entertainment. I highly recommended this rental. Also Tammy was my contact for this rental and was amazing. I sent her a text that a kayak oar was missing, within an hour she had one sent over. Thank you for such an incredible experience!!!
