  • In the pocket of Christian Shores, this is half of a Colonial with plenty of charming old New England character yet new and fresh feel.

    Off street parking and water views! Enjoy the bright kitchen, fully equipped, you can cook dinner and enjoy time with friends or family. Grill on the porch and enjoy the view!

    Portsmouth New Hampshire is a bustling town, with access to amazing restaurants, breweries, coffee shops and museums. Spend the day shopping or going to the farmers market. Take a harbor cruise out to the Isle of Shoals.

    With quick access to the water, you can bring your paddle board, kayak or other water craft and enjoy!

    Bring your dog too!

    Short 5 min walk to to downtown!

    1 mile to Maine or 5 min

    50 miles Boston or 55min

    The character of this space is an enjoyable New England experience!
    Just few extras:
    - boat launch at the end of the street with a park to enjoy the water view.
    - stone patio for outside enjoyment in the summer
    - 5 min to the Portsmouth Music Hall
    - 8 min to Strawberry Bank
    -10 -12 min drive to the beach
    - 5 min to Kittery Outlets

    We have always prided our property as very clean but we are now allowing 24-48 hours between travelers to take extra little bit of time to go through and give it that extra bit of cleaning love!

    We want everyone to enjoy there time in Portsmouth!

We loved this place. Charming, immaculate and well stocked. The owner was very responsive & helpful with restaurant suggestions. If we go to Portsmouth again we will definitely stay there!

Often choosing a short-term rental over a hotel means missing out on special touches. This was not the case with Michelle's property. The fireplaces and master bath made our trip complete. The little park down the street allowed us to catch the sunrise while taking the dog out. The dog loves watching the neighborhood from the deck while we had coffee in the bright kitchen. We would definitely stay again.

Great old house on a quiet street close to the action of downtown. The house was decorated incredibly tastefully and the kitchen appliances were all new and in great shape!

This property was wonderful! So clean and comfortable. We were in Portsmouth for my niece’s wedding and this was the perfect spot. It is so close to downtown. I honestly wish I had more time to explore the surrounding area. Highly recommend this property!

What a wonderful home! The kitchen is light filled and well appointed. We spent a lot of time around the table. The living room is cozy, with an electric stove to warm the room on chilly evenings. The downstairs bedroom was comfortable, though the bathroom is not attached. The shower is quite small for bigger people but we made it work. The stairs are typical old New England, meaning narrow and winding. They were fine for the younger ones in our family. The third floor was the kids hangout and they loved it. The location is ideal for exploring Portsmouth. We enjoyed watching the tide go in and out. Michelle is an excellent host. She responded quickly to questions. She was so accommodating. We would love to return.

We love staying at this lovely VRBO in Portsmouth! The host is a great communicator, the location is great for walking into town and venturing to Maine and Massachusetts. This VRBO is quaint and well equipped. We look forward to returning next fall.

Great house, great location

Overall we had a great stay while in town for my son's wedding in Portsmouth. The home was clean, with plenty of supplies and close to downtown!

The location was great, the house was well stocked with pots/pans/glassware/etc. The bed was comfortable and the main bathroom was very nice. I did find it strange that there were no window treatments in the kitchen/dining area, it was a little strange since the street has a decent amount of foot traffic. It also meant the kitchen was pretty chilly.

Great property!

Wonderful property that was spacious, clean, had tons of amenities and in a fantastic location for easy walking to downtown with a short drive to groceries and other shopping. Loved it and hope to stay longer on our next visit to the area.
