The SolRio condominium is situated in a quiet location but close to the center of Alvor. Shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops are within walking distance and Pingo Doce supermarket is a 5 minute walk, 15 minutes from the beach on foot, 700m from the riverside of Alvor.
The beautiful lawned garden and the pool are very nice and ideal for sunbathing and resting.
Solrio has lift, video intercom and underground parking reserved for each apartment.

The contemporary apartment consists of an open kitchen equipped in the lounge, 1 dining room, 2 double bedrooms with double beds, 1 bathroom with bathtub, 2 terraces to rest, enjoy the sun and take meals.
The kitchen is equipped with everything needed: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, etc.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in dit mooie appartement, heel fijn contact met de verhuurder. het appartement is heel ruim ,super schoon en van alle genakken voorzien.je loopt binnen 10 minuten door het gezellige oude centrun naar het strand. zeker een aanrader.

Many times in alvor. Apartment did not disappoint, spacious and clean with everything we needed, as we had grandchildren with us, so we did do a lot of cooking, would definitely book again, very well kept communal areas, great children’s pool

Solrio apartments

I thought the accommodation was good. I have stayed at Sol Rio several times over the years. I feel the apartment is ready for decorating and the decor is not to my taste. But it was very clean and comfortable. The front balcony could be a little more private and the glass table on the back balcony was in the way. Several signs said not to move it, so we didn't. The pool and grounds were lovely and well kept. Overall we were happy. The front gate needs repair. We thought we were locked out the first night and had to ring Fatima who told us that the gate was broken and we should use the other one.

The property was large, clean and had all the facilities, including high-speed broadband and multiple TV channels. The property was centrally located, but in a quiet part of Alvor. Will definitely return.

Great apartment near the centre

Great stay, comfortable beds nice and clean, the picture needs updating of the view from the back balcony, we had a nice time, check in process was easy and Fatima was on hand for questions we had. One thing I would suggest is that if you could have water in the fridge on arrival as we had a late flight I had to go in town with the kids to find a takeaway that had water when we really just wanted to go to bed

Great one month vacation

This spacious, comfortable apartment is filled with light and a joy to return to from exploring the Algarve. The location at the top of the Main Street and right at Golfland roundabout makes it so easy to go to local grocery stores, restaurants and shops as well as heading out of Alvor. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed trying out Portuguese recipes at home. It is comfortable with four as only the one bathroom would make it more challenging for more than that. Rosa was very responsive to questions and Paula quick to follow up. Our arrival was a bit confusing as it was Jan.1 and the usual helpers were vacationing too but simple once we connected. This is an outstanding place to enjoy the Algarve and Alvor. You will love it.

Fabulous two bedroom apartment!

Myself, my husband and our friends had a fantastic 11 nights holiday in a great location. The apartment is superb, just like home from homeand spotlessly clean. Great large balcony at the front to people watch or to sunbathe on a morning. The back balcony is fab for the afternoon sun. 2 minute walk to the supermarket and a 3 minute walk to the bars and restaurants. The pool area is good, the only downfall, theres only 2 sunbeds allocated for this apartment but there should be 4! Fatima greated us on arrival and was very welcoming! Booking the apartment was easy and great communication with Rosa. We all recommend this apartment! Building work on the new apartment block didn't impact on our stay!

Highly recommended for families

Property was very cozy. We loved sit on our balconies or cool down at the pool. Walking distance to ocean (not beach), stores and restaurants and church Perfect vacation destination! Next time we will make sure to rent apartment with 2 bathrooms because 1 was very inconvenient for family of 5. Thanks to help of the kind property manager we were able to find the building (they don't use numbers, just street)

Nice apartment - Shame about the building works

First of all this apartment is very nice, spacious and very well equipped. It has almost everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We have no complaints about they way that the apartment was presented to us and our thanks go to the host (Rosa) for that. However, there are currently new build apartments under construction very close by and work starts daily (excluding Sundays) at 8.00 AM and continues right through the day until 7.00PM. At it's closest point, it is only around 20 metres from the balcony of this apartment. It only really affected us first thing in the morning and last thing at night as we are beach lovers and didn't spend time at the apartment or at the pool. But if you do like chilling out at the pool, now is not the time as it's very noisy between the crane lifting things onto the building and the workmen using power tools. That said, the view from this apartment may actually be better than it was, once the new apartment block has been completed, as I think it was previously a view over waste ground where the local parked their cars. We have been visiting Alvor for more than 25 years and we have seen great change over that time.....sadly it is no longer the quaint fishing village that it once was. Alvor village is only a short 3-4 minute walk away and you are really spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants and bars. A good sized supermarket is also situated 1-2 minutes walk away. Would I stay here again? Of course I would, it's Alvor.

Terrific two bedroom apartmenton.

A simple booking process and contact from the owner enabled a smooth arrival. The apartment is extremely well equipped and fitted out to a high and comfortable standard. It is situated close to amenities and is quiet and peaceful with balconies to the front and rear. A car is not necessary but the apartment block has underground parking for a vehicle. Overall this is a terrific apartment.
